And why
I have two
Wimbledon - so bad my maths teacher turned it off after 5 minutes
Angus thongs and perfect snogging - just girls chasing boys - worst plot line ever

Sleepless in Seattle.
Got halfway though it at the cinema and left early. It was also on tv recently and the thought I'd try again.
Nope, still a load of twaddle.

IHaveBrilloHair · 17/02/2018 19:09

Black swan.
Overrated tosh.

BlessYourCottonSocks · 17/02/2018 19:09

Eraserhead. The most appalling load of shite I've ever seen. Apparently 'arty' horror by David Lynch. I watched it donkey's years ago with a bloke I must have been keen to impress - and it has scarred me forever with how utterly boring and incomprehensible it was.

misskatamari · 17/02/2018 19:09

I hated Syriana. It was sooo boring and I didn't have a clue what was happening. Think I might just have been a bit too stupid to get it tho (Altho dh thought the same). I hated eat pray love too, turned it off as it was so shite

BigPizzaPie · 17/02/2018 19:09

Eternal Spotless Sunshine or whatever its called (so bad I've blocked out the name). I couldn't work out what it was about...and then I just didn't bloody care. Dreadful.

DramaAlpaca · 17/02/2018 19:10

The Pokemon movie. I took my boys to see it & I think I fell asleep, it was so bad. I can usually find something to enjoy in children's films, but that one was just so tedious.

Awrite · 17/02/2018 19:10

I Am Legend

expatinscotland · 17/02/2018 19:10

The third Austin Powers film. I fell asleep in the cinema.

Gravity. Fell asleep during that, too, but thankfully on the sofa.

Playdohnut · 17/02/2018 19:11

Space Boobs In Space.

VetOnCall · 17/02/2018 19:12

Showgirls was laughably bad.
Agree on SATC2, fucking awful.
Seen loads of really shit horror films.

Redglitter · 17/02/2018 19:12

Lost In Translation - still no idea what it was about

Traffic - walked out the cinema

English Patient - about twice as long as it should have been

HairyBallTheorem · 17/02/2018 19:12

Batman and Robin
The Matrix 3 (gawd knows why I went to see this, two was pretty terrible)
The most recent of the Pirates of the Caribbean films (see comment above... could masochism be an explanation? Or complete inability to learn from experience)
And a little known arthouse movie Haman, The Turkish Baths.

Awrite · 17/02/2018 19:12

I just read someone suggest Ted. Yy, but don't know if it counts if you turn it off. I didn't get past about 20 minutes.

Oh God, I have 2.

Pitch Black. A group of annoying people mumble and wander around a deserted planet, drink whisky even though it's been hot and they must have a headache after wandering around aimlessly for hours. Then they get killed by pointy aliens.

Thank you for Smoking. To this day, I have no idea what went on, just that they all worked in a newsroom and someone called Don died.

IHaveBrilloHair · 17/02/2018 19:14

SATC2 was just embarrassing, I almost cringed myself to death.

YouCantBeSirius · 17/02/2018 19:16

Vanilla Sky. I just don't know what it was about.

VetOnCall · 17/02/2018 19:16

Sloane I can't watch anything with Adam Sandler in it. Something about his face and his voice and the characters he plays all combine in a way that I find utterly repellent.

CobraKai · 17/02/2018 19:17

Can't remember what it was called but it was a foreign language film where a woman gives birth to a tree baby which grows massive and terrifying and she has to feed it blood.

Fucking bizarre.

T2517 · 17/02/2018 19:17

Sucker Punch. Biggest load of mysoginistic shit I’ve ever seen.

Fintress · 17/02/2018 19:18

The Circle on Netflix. I had previously read the book which I really enjoyed but the movie was utter pants. It would have been better made into a mini-series as it missed out about 80% of the book.

FissionChips · 17/02/2018 19:18

The hobbit, 20 mins in and they were still singing!!! I left and got my money back.

lovelurgan · 17/02/2018 19:18

A work colleague once lent me a DVD (back in the day obviously) of 'The Holiday', telling me it was soooo good. God but it was anything but, had to turn it off about 45 mins in. More recently - 'Neighbours' was truly terrible - couldn't believe there was a sequel. I'd rather poke at my eyes with a rusty fork.

Dixiestampsagain · 17/02/2018 19:18

Natural Born Killers. Just wtf?

OopsPardonMrsArden · 17/02/2018 19:18

Ano una. Closely followed by Dogtooth. And another vote for SAT 2.
