And why
I have two
Wimbledon - so bad my maths teacher turned it off after 5 minutes
Angus thongs and perfect snogging - just girls chasing boys - worst plot line ever

OP posts:
BlooperReel · 21/08/2018 11:29

The Vault - slowest and stupidest plot line I have ever experienced

The Moshi Monsters Movie - I wanted to leave the cinema but DD loved it. Utter gibberish.

Pilgit · 21/08/2018 11:33

Batman vs supermen. Utterly appalling film. But not in a funny way

MissusGeneHunt · 21/08/2018 11:48

Sweeny Todd with Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham-Carter.

Who the fuck said it should be sung?! There's me tuning in hoping for some quality JD time and some HBC good acting, and it ends up being Les Mis on crack. FFS.

sunshinewithabitofdrizzle · 21/08/2018 11:59

Noah with Russell Crowe and Emma Watson (amongst others) is on my list. Absolutely awful movie.

DianaPrincessOfThemyscira · 21/08/2018 12:06

Fast and Furious 6? Or 7 maybe.

It made me actually angry to watch it was so bad.

DH loved it Hmm

Tinty · 21/08/2018 12:16

The Lobster! Worst film I have ever seen.

StormyLovesOdd · 21/08/2018 12:33

Jaws The Revenge, think this was Jaws 3 or 4, I can't remember. The story was that the shark actually went out looking for the Brody family and swam all the way from America to the Baharmas to find them, bypassing everyone else on the way and he only wanted to kill this particular family. THE most stupid plot line ever.

I think it was the last one that was made and even Michael Cain admitted the film was dire.

I actually paid to see it at the cinema in 3-D !!!

Jaynesworld · 21/08/2018 12:35

Son of rambo

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 21/08/2018 12:35

Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Then

2hrs and 13min of utter touture through boredom

Even thinking about it makes me angry

possumgoddess · 21/08/2018 12:41

We started to watch Batman v Superman, both found it so incredibly boring we switched it off after half an hour and we only gave it that long to give it a chance to get better.

FatherBuzzCagney · 21/08/2018 12:53

Jaws The Revenge

Stormy, I paid to see it too and it was spectacularly shit. I can slightly forgive it, though, because it produced a great Michael Caine quote: "I have never seen it, but by all accounts it is terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific.”

And bad as it was, it can't touch the oeuvre of Robin Williams: Patch Adams, What Dreams May Come, Hook, Jakob the Liar. A group of us decided (fuck knows why) that it would be hilarious to have Robin Williams evenings where we drank a lot of wine and laughed at his 'serious' films. We cracked after two evenings of two films (I think it was Jakob the Liar that finally pushed us over the edge). Hideous sentimental kitsch.

LeighaJ · 21/08/2018 12:59

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me

Albatross26 · 21/08/2018 13:04

Yes to under the skin with Scarlett Johansson -pretentious twaddle that looked like it'd been dreamt up by some sixth form film studies students.

No country for old men - got rave reviews but I was bored shitless

Puzzledandpissedoff · 21/08/2018 13:30

Captain Phillips with Tom Hanks - why he ever let himself be associated with it defeats me

Also Gravity: Hype, hype and more hype with too little to back it up

MinesaPinot · 21/08/2018 13:46

Raging Bull - My God it was boring

derxa · 21/08/2018 13:58

Mean Girls is absolute shit, I don't get the hype at all How very dare you.
Agree None for you Gretchen Wieners Bye!

fizzylaces37573 · 21/08/2018 14:06

The tree of life. I think it's obviously for a very niche arty market. It was just one random scene to another. Me and DH were actually laughing at how crap it was and most of the audience walked out. It has big A-listers in it including Brad Pitt and Sean Penn.
We had at the time unlimited cards so thankfully didn't cost us anything apart from two hours of our lives. As a joke we told another couple friend who also had unlimited cards it was one of the best films we had ever watched. So they went and luckily found the joke funny. Unfortunately they tried the same thing to another friend who did not find it as funny as they paid to see it Shock

wherewithal · 21/08/2018 14:14

Probably Love Actually. I was hoping airport security would at least wing the kid making a dash for the gate.

apriljune12 · 21/08/2018 14:16

The magic roundabout!!

Sat through it with dd and had s massive hangover. I fucking hate Robbie Williams anyway and it was pure torture. Wink

summerarlast · 21/08/2018 14:30

Eat, Pray, Love. I thought it was never going to end!

Tobebythesea · 21/08/2018 17:51

The Thin Red Line
Sex and the City 2

FarrahMoan · 21/08/2018 18:50

I definitely think some posters need to go away and watch The Lobster as I think it should be the benchmark by which all shit films are judged

Lisabel · 21/08/2018 18:50

The Aviator

PaulRuddislush · 21/08/2018 18:51

THank God someone else said Hereditary. Went on holiday in US as DH kept saying how fantastic the reviews were. That's 2 hours and 50 bucks I'll never see again, utter utter shite.
Also a terrible Netflix one called Open House, nasty plot free drivel.

Lisabel · 21/08/2018 18:51

^^ the only film I've ever left the cinema half way through. It just dragged on so much and didn't hold my interest at all.
