And why
I have two
Wimbledon - so bad my maths teacher turned it off after 5 minutes
Angus thongs and perfect snogging - just girls chasing boys - worst plot line ever

OP posts:
pinkpopcorn · 18/02/2018 07:11

The lobster. Made 4/5ths of the room fall asleep, but no worries falling asleep made no difference to the plot line as it was just so bizarre!

VanGoghsLeftEar · 18/02/2018 07:44

Another vote for Van Helsing.

TheRebel · 18/02/2018 07:59

The Good Shepherd- I remember sitting in the cinema thinking is this ever going to end?

The remake of The Producers - just awful, the only film I’ve ever walked out of and got a refund.

OliviaStabler · 18/02/2018 08:11

Mousehunt. The most boring, unfunny film I've ever seen.

Mrsjellybum · 18/02/2018 08:28

Johnny Darko

Lost in translation.

Unevenbeard · 18/02/2018 08:31

Meet the Spartans was horrendous

HeadBasher2018 · 18/02/2018 08:32

Bachelorette was unbelievably dark and unfunny.

I only make it through about 10% of rom-coms in Netflix, most are awful but Bachelorette stands out for its nastiness as well as awfulness.

VanillaSugar · 18/02/2018 08:46

The Angry Birds movie. Thanks for that. Just thanks.

bigbootsj · 18/02/2018 09:11

Watched the Open House last night. Don't watch it, absolutely pointless film that has no proper ending. Wasted an hour and a half of my life on that crap

StorminaBcup · 18/02/2018 09:19

There’s so many bad films! Also adding Mullholland Drive. Premise seems good but it’s a David Lynch and I got so confused I gave up after 30 minutes.

Blerg · 18/02/2018 09:30

I see Adam Sandler is a repeat offender.

Don’t Mess with the Zohan - unfunny, offensive, boring and gross.

Mindhunter · 18/02/2018 09:50

Can't believe no one has mentioned Freddie Got Fingered what a load of crap.

I am another person who doesn't like ET (or the Beatles or a fan of puppies)

user1490465531 · 18/02/2018 10:00

schindlers list. Everyone rated it but found it so boring.
Cloudy with a touch of meatballs the only film I've witnessed people walking out of the cinema.

RoboticSealpup · 18/02/2018 10:03

Teenage boy fantasy bullshit like Harold and Kumar, American pie, etc, etc.

Friends with kids. Worst shit ever. People walked out. Some booed at the end.

SaskaTchewan · 18/02/2018 10:03

Final Destination. It should've been a dark comedy, not a serious movie
I don't think it was ever meant as a serious movie Grin

Some of the movies on the thread sound awful, I am amazed that posters even tried to watch these masterpieces!

Oysterbabe · 18/02/2018 10:04

I remember people walking out of Hills have eyes.

e1y1 · 18/02/2018 10:08

I probably now know why I watch the same movies (that I like) a lot, and take ages to get a new one going off this thread.

The one that springs to mind is Vanilla a Sky, I just didn’t get it, I haven’t tried with it for at least 10 years though, so maybe a retry?

SinisterBumFacedCat · 18/02/2018 10:21

Get Shorty -watched it and literally wouldn't be able to describe the plot after the credits rolled.

Batman vs Superman all buildings falling down macho bollox and no dialogue.

DeadButDelicious · 18/02/2018 10:22

Prometheus. What a pile of toss that was.

MilesJuppIsMyBitch · 18/02/2018 10:27

I love lots of these (especially Birdman), but hate any film where it turns out it's all caused by some sort of demon, and there's a book explaining how this has been happening exactly every 34 and two-eighth years.

Also, films with Nicholas Cage with variations on the line:

"Do you know what this is? This is Ancient Aramaic.... The language of CHRIST!"

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 18/02/2018 10:35

La La Land

Dull dull dull

Roomba · 18/02/2018 10:37

Showgirls - almost left cinema 30 mins before the end but decided to stay. Bad decision.

Fifty Shades of Grey - what a pile of shite!

Skyline - so crap that my ex took the DVD back to ASDA and demanded a refund - they gave it! Grin

Emoji Movie - my kids begged to go and see it, but even they thought it was the worst film they'd ever seen.

Mamma Mia -- my mum's favourite, she forced me to watch it - expecting me to howl with laughter at it. I hate musicals, not keen on ABBA and the plot, acting and singing were all shockingly bad!

Midnight - sorry, but nothing much really happens and it was really boring!

HelgasFlowers · 18/02/2018 10:39

Deadheads (I think that’s what it was called). It’s a cheap zombie film and it’s awful. Nothing redeeming about it at all. It did, however, change my husbands view that all DVDs should be kept and led to a huge clearour, so that’s something!

Desmondo2016 · 18/02/2018 10:43

Lord of the Rings. Complete random fantastical shite (in my very humble opinion)

BuffysFavouriteStake · 18/02/2018 10:44

The Talented Mr Ripley. God that was boring, even Jude Law as eyecandy couldn't help.

Love Actually. Preferred to read my teacher friends lesson plan. She teaches Welsh.
