And why
I have two
Wimbledon - so bad my maths teacher turned it off after 5 minutes
Angus thongs and perfect snogging - just girls chasing boys - worst plot line ever

OP posts:
eurgh2018 · 17/02/2018 21:11

Mamma Mia. The only film I've ever turned off, even the other bad ones I persist to the end because I have an insatiable need to see "how it turns out" Confused

XistenZ (is that how it's spelt?) with Jude Law. I just don't get it.

beyondworriedmum · 17/02/2018 21:12

50 first dates worst movie ever made me feel uncomfortable 😣

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 17/02/2018 21:12

Dirty dancing is shite.even worse is the saddos who quote it like it’s deep
Who gives a fuck who put baby in the corner.the acting is rotten, they dance like tanks in mud

KERALA1 · 17/02/2018 21:13

Agree vlad am bored in the trailers of the Star Wars films god knows why so popular.

Loved moulin rouge, greatest showman, les mis and la la though. Can't beat a musical

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 17/02/2018 21:16

all Star Wars movies, all the lord of rings, atonement, kill bill, all twilight
All universally shite.with rotten plots, sychophantic fans who repeat the lines

Itis6oclocksomewhere · 17/02/2018 21:18

These have already been mentioned, but Event Horizon and La La Land are the worst films for me.
Mamma Mia is close contender too.

Mummyof2Piggies · 17/02/2018 21:19

Cambionome seriously?!?!

Downsizing is pretty rubbish!

Mayday01 · 17/02/2018 21:20

Grand Canyon. A bunch of Americans navel gazing for about 2 hours. No idea what it was supposed to be about.
And any film Will Smith is in.
Circa 'I am Legend', he perfected what he must think is the ultimate searching tortured face, so he trots it out about 90% of the time he's on screen. It's the exact same face if you were having some trouble with constipation, and knuckling down so to speak.

SoundofSilence · 17/02/2018 21:20

The Adventures of Chris Fable. Awful, awful, straight-to-DVD evangelical propaganda, given to us and recommended by adult DSD. I would have quit within ten minutes, but kept thinking, "She must have recommended it for a reason. Maybe it improves." No, it didn't.

I should have trusted my instincts and quit when it bludgeoned me over the head with the scientist trapped in a bird cage because he insisted on reading all the books for answers instead of trusting in the only one he needed.

The next time I saw her I told her that I couldn't finish it. I may have ranted a little about the birdcage and the scene where television was revealed to be a nefarious scheme of Satan to destroy the minds of children. She shamefacedly admitted that she hadn't actually watched it herself, but had thought that it looked good from the cover description.

We still tease her about it.

isthismummy · 17/02/2018 21:20

Can't believe Coming to America is mentioned several times here. It's brilliant. One of my childhood faves (even though I probably shouldn't have been watching it)

MrsSteveMcDonald · 17/02/2018 21:21

A toss up between The Matrix and ET

DreamyMcDreamy · 17/02/2018 21:27

E.T??????

emma6776 · 17/02/2018 21:27

Tree of Life
Pitch Black
Mamma Mia

curious541 · 17/02/2018 21:29

Sorry op but I love Wimbledon!
and in my younger days didn't mind at&ps either Confused

Wish I'd walked out of Alexander with Colin Firth - soooo rubbish!
More recently, Grimsby! I live in NE Eng and sooo disappointed in the way they portrayed the area. NW power house of North - NE shown as unintelligent, uneducated, chavs - err no it's not like that...

...ooh strayed to a different thread Wink oops

LloydColeandtheCoconuts · 17/02/2018 21:29

MrsSteveMcDonald
ET? Shock
People who don’t like ET are in the same category as those who don’t like The Beatles, puppies and chocolate! Not to be trusted! Wink

DreamyMcDreamy · 17/02/2018 21:30

The Mask. The only film I walked out of the cinema half way through
OMIGOD,I loved The Mask and that's a total past blast!!
I fear this isn't the thread for me lol.
"My name is Cuban Pete......"

Misswig · 17/02/2018 21:31

All the sharknado films!! They are so awful I had to keep watching Blush

AccidentallyRunToWindsor · 17/02/2018 21:32

The matrix
Alvin and the chipmunks- the squealkul

Pixel99 · 17/02/2018 21:32

Magnolia. Went with a friend, thought film was awful but friend might be enjoying it so didn't want to say anything in case we should leave (we were car sharing). Got out of cinema only to discover she hated it but didn't want to say anything in case I was enjoying it!! We then thought her car had been stolen when we couldn't find it. We were looking in the wrong place, best bit of the evening, Hmm

ninecoronas · 17/02/2018 21:33

Domino- such a hot mess that the supposedly hallucinogenic drug scene was exactly like the rest of the film...

The last Hunger Games film. So frigging lazy it actually made me angry, it was just a series of speeches strung together! (Although the previous one was shit too so it's my own fault for watching it).

brizzledrizzle · 17/02/2018 21:34

anything with Jim Carey is truly awful.

MrsSteveMcDonald · 17/02/2018 21:35

I like The Beatles, puppies and chocolate! I also think Grease 2 is eleventy billion times better than Grease

stargirl1701 · 17/02/2018 21:35

Tron on a flight from Calgary to Hong Kong in the early 1980s.

Steakandchips3 · 17/02/2018 21:36

The Weather Man with Nicholas Cage. Absolutely awful

whippetwoman · 17/02/2018 21:39

I really love Lost in Translation! There must be something wrong with me.
