And why
I have two
Wimbledon - so bad my maths teacher turned it off after 5 minutes
Angus thongs and perfect snogging - just girls chasing boys - worst plot line ever

OP posts:

Mamma Mia, pitch perfect 2, for no discernible plot.just shite singing

NannyKasey · 17/02/2018 21:40

Titanic - 3+hours of my life I won't get back.
Les Mis - didn't bother with the film as I absolutely hated it when I saw it live, didn't think Hugh Jackman could save it.
Bridesmaids - watched 10 mins and then turned it off.

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 17/02/2018 21:41

That’s thing about such lists you’ll agree, til you see your fave cherished movie on list

mirime · 17/02/2018 21:42

@Mindhunter

Oh God, Moulin Rouge. Watched it when DH was seriously ill, though we didn't know how seriously at the time. I have very little memory of it I just remember being stressed and panicked and DH hallucinated through most of it.

Really hate that film.

PunkrockerGirl59 · 17/02/2018 21:43

Manchester by the sea.
Was really looking forward to it but dear God what a tedious pretentious load of old shite.

FloppyBoobs · 17/02/2018 21:43

Human Centipede - utter shit

TroysMammy · 17/02/2018 21:43

The Matrix. Five minutes into the film at the cinema me and my friend were trying to look at our watches to see how much longer we had to suffer. Our husbands enjoyed, we went to sleep.

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 17/02/2018 21:44

I didn’t know there’s a grease2.
All the SATC movies, grim. Endless product placement

WishingOnABar · 17/02/2018 21:45

Pretty much any Vince Vaughan film Ive had the misfortune to watch
Agree with pp about Downsizing

Also Twilight. All of them.

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 17/02/2018 21:46

Fortunately I can doze in cinema,I’ve slept my way through many so called classics

Skarossinkplunger · 17/02/2018 21:46

Love Actually. I left the cinema early.

noraclavicle · 17/02/2018 21:47

Dracula - the Kenneth Branagh one
Moulin Rouge

Both teeth-grindingly AWFUL

Peachyking000 · 17/02/2018 21:47

What To Expect When You’re Expecting.

Basically sums up people (ie my SIL) who turn into petulant hormonal princesses when they are pregnant

Meandmy4 · 17/02/2018 21:47

Zoolander !! I mean WTAF !!! Angry want to boil my own head off just thinking about the DIV !!!

Karlakitten1 · 17/02/2018 21:47

Spring breakers...load of crap!!

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 17/02/2018 21:48

Delighted to see so many people calling out moulin rouge for the toilet brush it is

TroysMammy · 17/02/2018 21:49

Also About a Boy which is supposed to be a comedy. Me and another friend just didn't get it.

A few years later I bought an About a Boy mug with a picture of Marcus on it in the pound shop for my friend as a laugh. He said with a grin 'fuck off". Grin

noraclavicle · 17/02/2018 21:50

Agh, no, sorry...

Frankenstein - the Kenneth Branagh one
Dracula
Moulin Rouge

Frankenstein and Dracula seem to have merged in my memory into one horrible homogenous mass Grin

bricksareheavy · 17/02/2018 21:51

Anything with Adam fucking Sandler
shakes fist angrily at the sky

kaz2810 · 17/02/2018 21:54

I watched Baywatch yesterday night & spent 2 hours bringing in disbelief at how bad it was!

mcgoogleismename · 17/02/2018 21:55

Ultraviolet. It made absolutely no sense.

That, and Twilight. Utter shite.

sakura06 · 17/02/2018 21:56

I've never walked out of the cinema, but my friends and I all agreed that we wished we had walked out of Meet Joe Black! Also hated Vanilla Sky with a passion.

Synecdoche New York and Mulholland Drive are 2 I thought were pretentious shite (although I saw the latter as a teenager, and definitely didn't 'get it').

Enjoyed Ted, but turned Ted 2 off after 20 minutes-it just wasn't funny. I usually love Adam Sandler movies, but I agree Little Nicky is awful.

The worst film I saw at the cinema last year was Transformers.

However, 'The Room' is definitely the worst movie I've ever seen, but it manages to be so bad it's good!

sakura06 · 17/02/2018 21:58

@curious541 I had forgotten about Alexander! That was dreadful! And SO long.

PunkrockerGirl59 · 17/02/2018 22:02

Oh and Moonlight.
Another pile of pretentious incomprehensible wank.

Northernknickers · 17/02/2018 22:05

Human Centipede...it was so abhorrent! Truly, truly awful 🤢

Others I've just 'not got' (because thick 😂😂). The Matrix, any of the LOTR films...and then others that I've just gone like this: 😯 Black Swan, Boxing Helena (very disturbing!).
