My boss... I am working 50 hours weeks because we have too much work to do and not enough people. Boss comes again to check how am I doing and most importantly, to let me know she will be thinking of me, when we get to the most difficult part.

WTF? How about getting off her arse, roll her sleves up, do help get things done and stop going home 4 hours before her team?

milkmoustache · 15/02/2018 21:11

My mum hanging up on me.

DownstairsMixUp · 15/02/2018 21:12

40andfeelingit · 15/02/2018 21:13

Renal colic. You know when they say the pain with kidney stones is worse than childbirth, they’re not wrong. Wish I hadn’t had to find out though

halfwitpicker · 15/02/2018 21:14

Should say lists, plural. There's more than one list (I think)

MadisonAvenue · 15/02/2018 21:19

Nationwide. Our 17 year old opened an account last month to have his wages paid into from his part time job. He's been waiting for his debit card to be delivered, he had a welcome letter delivered to home with his account number etc 2 weeks ago.

Neither the card or PIN have turned up so we've called Nationwide to be told that it's gone to our old address, which we moved from 7 years ago and I went into Nationwide to change addresses a couple of days afterwards. Since then all correspondence, including statements for our son's savings account, has been sent to our 'new' address.

They've confirmed that this is the address that they hold for him yet their system reverted to our former address when his card and PIN sent out and they're unable to explain why.

Sorting that out has taken 2 hours of my day.

positivepineapple · 15/02/2018 21:21

DH not managing to ever put a food wrapper in the bin and my neighbour being annoyed that we included her driveway (didn't have to - did it to be neighbourly) in our security light zone (for her benefit) as it's bright!

Mookie81 · 15/02/2018 21:44

*@ItWentInMyEye * what did you say to him?!

HereWeGoRoundAgain · 15/02/2018 21:47

Dh. Life, the universe, and everything is my fault and he's perfect. Fuck this shit.

Winterfellismyhome · 15/02/2018 21:49

A woman on the train this morning who gave me a filthy look because i asked her to move her bag so i could sit down HmmHmm

par05 · 15/02/2018 21:52

Work and more specifically work colleague! Who just trys to sabotage my work by saying in front of the boss that I'm doing it incorrectly. I know what I'm doing arghhh!

Cobblersandhogwash · 15/02/2018 23:04

That TV series Requiem. What a bag of shite. Wasted six hours of my life on that.

Windmyonlyfriend · 15/02/2018 23:14

Everything. Literally everything today has pissed me off. I’ve been in a right foul mood. Poor DC, I might need to apologise in the morning.

(Mind you, DC are 2 and 4 and are so utterly self-absorbed that I’m not sure they even noticed. I’m definitely in the running for one of them muttering ‘for fuck sake’ under their breath any day now though.)

Butterymuffin · 15/02/2018 23:15

ItWentInMyEye I'd have been tempted to text something 'from him' that would have pissed her off!

People coming in and talking to me just as I needed to leave work to pick up DS without being late. Not the first time they've done it either.

Crumblevision · 15/02/2018 23:19

Bloke I have been seeing for a year got me f all for Valentines Day. I'm not grabby at all - a card would have made my day.

QueenOfTheHighCs · 15/02/2018 23:21

I'm in France ski-ing for the week. Had a coffee at the top of the mountain mid-morning, came out and some tosser had taken my skis! Took a long fucking time to get down the mountain.

Babyroobs · 15/02/2018 23:21

My silly employers who have upset my friend and colleague by getting us all to apply for a 'promotion' which involved a lengthy application, presentation and interview. My colleague was successful only to be told the pay rise amounts to £1.50 a week. None of us would have gone through the stress if we'd known.

justkeeponsmiling · 15/02/2018 23:24

After waiting for 4 weeks for.my new boiler I was told today that the plumbers can't install it due to Health and Safety regs. No alternative offered. Just that. So after 4 weeks of no hot water and no heating I am looking at another indefinite period of the same. Sick to death of it now. Why the fuckers didn't tell me 4 weeks ago when they came to give me a quote fuck knows.

user1499722317 · 15/02/2018 23:24

I am 65 today and have the cold from hell. My ribs hurt from sneezing. Agree about Requiem.

Lilmis · 15/02/2018 23:37

My husband making minimal efforts to reply to my texts and calls when he's sitting on the other side of the world. Ffs

satnc · 15/02/2018 23:39

The fact that everyone at work is inept at everyfuckingthing😩
All day it's like nobody's been able to think for themselves or make a decision and just get stuff done without asking me first. All I've heard all day is my name being called from every direction and it's made me want to kill them all.

Working with bloody idiots, I don't understand why everything has to be such a massive faff to some people, just get it done!

Thats my rant done, ready for a better tomorrow (I'm taking a half day and then I'm out of there!)

GlitterBurps · 15/02/2018 23:39

Happy birthday user1499722317 hope you feel better soon Flowers

user1499722317 · 16/02/2018 00:03

Thank you Glitter. It has been only 3 days so may take a while to clear off!

Chocywockydodahhhhhh · 16/02/2018 01:49

Trying to keep my 3 year old DS under control when eating out while my 9 year old nephew runs around the table has tantrum after tantrum while my SIL kept saying feebly I will take you home if you carry on (she said this ten times).
