New temporary traffic lights that have popped up on the roundabout outside the village, leading to a massive queue to get home. They are phased badly, so only a handful of cars could get through each time. Not helped by the fact that the M23 is closed nearby.

Wine&Cake for everyone.

I'm pregnant and really struggling, struggling to sleep, not helped by DH snoring and DS waking at 6am. We're off for half term. Also breathless and morning sickness. Can't fit in most of my clothes and DH still hasn't got down my maternity clothes from the loft. Been asking for nearly three weeks.

DH stayed home to do diy/housework past two days while I took DS out. One 2 hour diy job done. Bathrooms still not cleaned. (Only other thing I asked him to do) He went to wash some of DS clothes and I reminded him they needed soaking in vanished. He said I'd had a week to do that. I told him so had he! 😡

On my own with ds aged 3 in a cafe. Long queue and fairly busy. I was struggling carrying the tray, holding his hand, bags and all the other crap that comes with a child and I was walking towards a table. An older woman-mid fifties prances past me from the back of the queue and dumps her bag on the table to "save" it and then joins the queue with her friend leaving me struggling to find another table.
she didn't have a clue and was in a world of her own.

My lovely boss has resigned and since we are a small company in a competitive field there are genuine questions about the future of the company in, say, 2 years from now. I'm sad more than pissed off. Plus beginning to worry if I should jump ship. Which also makes me feel sad (plus I'd never get the conditions i have now). 😰

expertonnothing · 15/02/2018 19:59

I was at my colleague's funeral. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. I listened to how much he adored his wife and I felt so pissed off that he died so young (early 50s) and so suddenly.

starryeyed19 · 15/02/2018 20:07

Pissed off that my son didn't stay at his playscheme today and I got called to bring him home after 40 minutes. Plus, my parents seem intent on arranging my life and making appointments for me without checking to see if I am free and THEN getting cross when I dare to ask "Could they possibly check with me before they book appointments?"

GlitterBurps · 15/02/2018 20:14

I have a new one. DH coming in and looking around the house with this look on his face as if to say it looks a mess. To be fair it does but I have had to turn the house upside down looking for documents the solicitor needs for our move whilst trying to entertain a toddler and baby. Then he plonked himself down to watch football.

thebear1 · 15/02/2018 20:38

Nobody wants to buy my house and I am fed up of viewings and hearing people love it but are looking at others. Then nothing happens.

Gibble1 · 15/02/2018 20:39

I have a horrible cold. Everything is too much effort. I have the week off as annual leave and it’s nearly finished and what a waste of chuffing time.

4267sparkles · 15/02/2018 20:40

My shit job..say no more 😢...my shower has been broke for 2 weeks, landlord comes round and says ' Ill just get a new one' when I ask when he says ' oh dont know, electrican is really busy" baths are just an absolute nightmare..2 kids and me 🤦‍♀️ my boyfriend comes to visit...falls asleep after 5 mins then leaves 25mins after arriving! Not seen him for 2 weeks 🙈 Cracked open a bottle of wine 🥂

rightknockered · 15/02/2018 20:46

Ex A-hole has decided he is too busy over the next few weeks to see the kids because he is moving house. Twat is going on holiday for two of those weeks and not taking the children. He will not see them for 2 months. He also has not paid me maintenance again, because he said he was moving house. Can fucking afford to go on fucking holiday though. He is also due to get married and has been badgering me to go out "to a movie or something" for "old times sake". HmmAngry

rightknockered · 15/02/2018 20:47

And to cap it all my dishwasher broke, during half term, and the kids seem to be just leaving plates, bowl, spoons, beakers all over the house.

YourVagesty · 15/02/2018 20:50

A quote for essential work on my house being about 4k over budget Sad so I suppose being reliant on white van men has pissed me off today

grannytomine · 15/02/2018 20:51

HMRC and needing to phone 3 times to sort out a problem and going through the security stuff till I was ready to scream. Got it sorted though so feeling better.

Bloomed · 15/02/2018 20:53

Friend who has difficult health stuff happening being hassled by an alternative therapy acquaintance who essentially did a victim blaming number on her. 'Why spiritually did she decide to be ill?' Angry

Cakemadeoffruit · 15/02/2018 20:58

Ex member of staff still stiring her venom. She makes my blood boil.

Gigimoll · 15/02/2018 21:02

Erdogan. And Amber Rudd. And Bojo the fucking clown.

Vinorosso74 · 15/02/2018 21:05

The people who got on the train with 4 kids today, kids sat around the table across the aisle from me arguing, iPad with the sound on, inconsideration to anyone else on board-blocking the aisle, rubbish on the floor, getting louder and louder and the adults sitting behind me mostly turned a blind eye/deaf ear to them.
Got home and DP is taking DD out tomorrow-we discussed taking packed lunch but has he bought the stuff or checked times of where they're going? No.

halfwitpicker · 15/02/2018 21:08

Rita requesting a meeting about list.
