Cunt and a dick?

This place has changed.
It's ok to pull the trousers off a child and thump them if they asked for it?
A PBP claims their child abuses their dog. I'm a cunt for suggesting they should stop that?
I miss Zombie. Sad
I have offered support on miscarriage and medical issues and posts about pets and MH issues. And loads more.
But I'm a dick and a know it all cunt who posts on every thread with my know it all opinions?
Too many bitches.
Not enough vipers.

Thundercunt has always been the ultimate something in my vocabulary. I usually use it sparingly and only when i REALLY lose my rag (which is really rather rarely) however I feel this is one of those instances when a minority can reclaim a word for their own usage. and in these instances Thundercunt is a title held by only the very most daring and bold of cunts.

p.s. Your dog's face in that last pic just made me lol at my desk. Grin

Thunderpunt · 13/02/2018 15:47

@soupforbrains can I just let you know that my name is in hounour of my ex-SIL who is a class A Thundercunt, but I went for the P in the middle because a the time I registered with MN I wasn't sure how they viewed swear words in NN.
I believe Thundercunt Is a thoroughly underused word IMO.

Thunderpunt · 13/02/2018 15:48

*hounour? I meant honour...duh!

Oblomov18 · 14/02/2018 05:33

Is it already taken, as a username? Wink

SpaceDinosaur · 14/02/2018 06:33

A PP nailed it. This place is much less sharp and much more bitchy than it ever used to be.

An influx on "Huns" and a lot of aggression coupled with the Daily Fail and trolls.

This is why I'm rarely here any more. 😶

I miss zombie too. I still have my candle and remember her when I light it.

Zombie died and MN went to shit. ☹️

Wolfie, I am new to Mumsnet. Thanks to you I have discovered Zombie and older threads. One of those threads is Zombie commenting on a post where the OP’s relative has heart failure- we are dealing with this now in my family.

The reasons I am telling you this are-

  • yes, a quick glance suggests that threads used to be less childish and unconstructive.
  • it was massively helpful to read about a medical issue that is right now dominating my family. So, you already made me feel better this morning.
  • We need to hold onto people like you, because AIBU is full of OPs going through awful times. Voices of sanity are so important.
  • your dog agrees. I see that in his gorgeous face.

Please stay Flowers

I hate these threads because we don't know what really happened.

It's probably six of one and half a dozen of the other.

MotherforkingShirtballs · 14/02/2018 09:14

I hate them because it's incredibly vulgar to use the name of a deceased MNer to try and lend credibility to a plea for sympathy. Maybe the MNer liked you, maybe she thought you were indeed a bit of a dick but when she's not here to state her opinion it's a bit crass to involve her like my friend who brings up his deceased dad whenever anyone calls him out for being a knobhead

CherryMaDeary · 15/02/2018 12:32

That is also true, Mother

WorraLiberty · 15/02/2018 12:51

I must admit I couldn't work out where/why Zombie came into it, but to be fair to the OP, she might have been mentioned on the thread that went whoosh.

MotherforkingShirtballs · 15/02/2018 12:52

She wasn't mentioned on the thread that went whoosh which makes the mentioning of her even more baffling.

crispsandgin · 15/02/2018 12:57

blah blah blah, I remember when all this were fields........
