This place has changed.
It's ok to pull the trousers off a child and thump them if they asked for it?
A PBP claims their child abuses their dog. I'm a cunt for suggesting they should stop that?
I miss Zombie. Sad
I have offered support on miscarriage and medical issues and posts about pets and MH issues. And loads more.
But I'm a dick and a know it all cunt who posts on every thread with my know it all opinions?
Too many bitches.

I didn't say what the fictional child should or shouldn't be doing. I didn't say it makes you a cunt. I said a poster on that felt your comments were disabilist and called you out on it.

If someone's said those things are alright, it's just them, the vast majority of posters here would think they were cunty, not you for calling them on it.

It has changed, granted, but not to that extent.

I think there have always been GFs. Hell, about 5 years ago I remember being told I looked/ dressed like a slut and that was why I couldn't get past a first date with various blokes on OD...I've also been told I'm a shit neglectful parent, lazy, and only 2 days ago I was told I behaved like a victim.

Not sure I've been called a cunt on here (yet) though, although I have in RL several times including when some guy yelled it at me through his open van window prefaced by the words 'you ugly fat..'

Fwiw I thought that thread was awful. I'm not a huge animal lover but suspected SN or not the way that (imaginary) child was behaving was completely unacceptable and I think your comments OP were perfectly fair.

I think it is a temporary trough. I can relate to the fury at posters who were exceptionally nasty on a deleted thread walking away with lovely reputation intact.

Many unpleasant attacks are, I hope, clumsy attempts at viper-ism. I think some of the really disagreeable posters are trying to emulate the quick wit and gentle ribbing of old. They see some popular posters being very able to gently poke fun and want to copy that, but lack the tact and wit.

I think there is still a lot of support! Aibu is a bit of a nightmare.
But in general I think people are good hearted, people can read into things pretty quickly.

Mist remember to put lighthearted or trigger warning on everything I write from now on!Wink

Awww your dog❤️ I saw the thread about the girl and the dog, you were right. My DS is as disabled as they come (Down Syndrome and Autism) he can’t read or write, is non verbal and still in nappies despite being 12 years old but he knows how to respect animals, I’ve taught him kind hands since he was a tot. There is no excuse for animal cruelty, people use ASD as an excuse for bad behaviour. Thank god that post was made up as it upset me.

I stay away from dog threads these days, they are either made up or end up in a ‘kill all dogs dead’ frenzy. Or both.

I did see a couple of posters saying you rock up and post crap advice which was pretty nasty though.
