This place has changed.
It's ok to pull the trousers off a child and thump them if they asked for it?
A PBP claims their child abuses their dog. I'm a cunt for suggesting they should stop that?
I miss Zombie. Sad
I have offered support on miscarriage and medical issues and posts about pets and MH issues. And loads more.
But I'm a dick and a know it all cunt who posts on every thread with my know it all opinions?
Too many bitches.

Forever yet no time at all.
I've waited a long time for this dog. Maybe that's why all the "I NEED to rehome my pet for this spurious reason" really pisses me off.

People don't use ASD to excuse bad behaviour!

Yes the post was made up but there were some bloody horrible posts on there.

ASD comes in all forms and sometimes that includes violence towards others especially when overwhelmed.

The thread was littered with disabilist comments and it was horrible. For me it doesn't matter that it wasn't true, it matters that some people believe the things they said when they believed this kid was real.

I'm saddened the post was taken down without any of those posts being challenged (ie. calling a child a twat, saying her behaviour needed to be beaten out of her)

Also not to derail the thread, especially in relation to an invented child, but on any SN related thread it is spectacularly unhelpful when people say "well my DC has SN and would never ever ". Not all people with SN have the same understanding and reactions, even when two people have the same condition - such as autism - they can display completely different behaviours because it's a spectrum not a checklist.

It would be like me saying "well my 6yo never ever does " and expecting all 6yo's to be exactly the same when in reality they're not because individualism exists.
