Can't understand the love for avocado, it tastes of nothing to me and the texture is slimy. I've had it with all the usual combos too!

MeridianB · 10/02/2018 16:06

Pickled eggs.

PorklessPie · 10/02/2018 16:53

@DenPerry I completely agree about avocado. Being vegan people presume I love them, but they are a waste of calories imo.

SolidHair · 10/02/2018 16:57

Melon. Yuk!!!

toffee1000 · 10/02/2018 17:00

Fruit flavoured chocolate. Orange/strawberry/coconut/etc. It tastes so artificial and nasty.
I also find most minty things (eg chewing gum) to be really strong. It reminds me too much of toothpaste.
Also don’t like raw tomatoes.

AccidentallyRunToWindsor · 10/02/2018 17:01

Mushrooms. When food is moulding you throw it away but when it's solo fungi it's supposed to be a delicious treat? No thanks

woodlanddreamer · 10/02/2018 17:11

Anything slimy
Oysters - can't even bring myself to try one
Blue cheese
Love goats cheese although some does smell like goat

DwangelaForever · 10/02/2018 17:13

Fried mushrooms 😷😷

lastqueenofscotland · 10/02/2018 17:14

Corriander tastes like soap.

Davespecifico · 10/02/2018 17:17

Primula, dog food, cat food, a rustlers burger, egg nog, a drink of nourishment, isles flottant, flumes, marzipan fruits

expatinscotland · 10/02/2018 17:19

Raw oysters. Mmm, cholera, typhoid and other unpleasant and potentially deadly disease.

Davespecifico · 10/02/2018 17:24

I adore oysters. On my last few eatings I have been glued to the toilet seat for 24 hours. So annoying me and my favourite food are not compatible. So goodbye Randall and Aubin.

Snowysky20009 · 10/02/2018 17:38

Oysters
Offal
Goats cheese
Blue cheese
All seafood except cod in batter/breadcrumbs
Liquorice
Egg yolk- like the white though!
Jellied eels
Marmite
Liver
Kidneys
Tofu
Quorn
Milk
Bran flakes- cardboard

I'm sure there's more 🤷🏻‍♀️

AnnabelleLecter · 10/02/2018 18:27

Earl grey tea
Fruit tea

thenewaveragebear1983 · 10/02/2018 18:35

Non free range eggs/battery eggs. Why you would want to eat a waste product from an animal that has lived its days in a box in the dark I do not know. Even if you save a few pence per egg.

Also, sweet corn. My kids love it. The other day they had tinned ravioli and sweet corn and I couldn’t even sit in the kitchen while they ate it.

DuxFeminaFacti · 10/02/2018 18:36

Anything with five spice flavouring in it 🤢

maddiemookins16mum · 10/02/2018 18:37

Those big fat green Gherkin things (yes DH, those ones you eat straight from the jar).
But worst of all he eats....
Marrowfat peas on toast - the dirty beggar.

GlitterGlassEye · 10/02/2018 18:49

So what does a semi-vegan eat? Hmm

toffee1000 · 10/02/2018 19:03

Glitter I think it’s when you cut down on your meat and dairy etc consumption but don’t give them up entirely. Everything seems to have a name these days.

AtleastitsnotMonday · 10/02/2018 19:05

It seems a lot of people share my dislike for goats cheese and lamb. Why do so many wedding menus and conference dinners serve it though?!

80sMum · 10/02/2018 19:11

These revolting, cheap, sickly cakes that you can get in Tesco

GlitterGlassEye · 10/02/2018 19:54

That’s not even a thing toffee so they’re full of shit but I’m happy to hear what vegans have to say about this.

Vegetarian- doesn’t eat meat but does eat dairy products.

Pescatarian- eats fish but no meat.

Vegan - no animal products.

Is that right? I’ll eat most things myself so no judging (apart from semi-vegans because why?)

AccidentallyRunToWindsor · 10/02/2018 20:06

Veggies eat eggs and dairy but no meat/meat products.

Or are least I hope that's how it works, or I have been doing it all wrong!

bakingaddict · 10/02/2018 20:08

I can't bring myself to try Oysters cos I imagine them to have the same taste and sensation of the aftermath of a blow-job not that I know what that taste is either but heho

BertieBotts · 10/02/2018 20:27

People call themselves semi-vegan when they are trying to eat less meat/animal products but don't actually want to cut it out entirely. Sometimes it's an environmental impact thing, sometimes animal welfare related (as they then eat higher welfare meat, much less often.)
