"Squirty" cheese from a tube or bottle, insects, milk, anything from the marrow/courgette/cucumber family. Gherkins and other pickles. Nasty.

I'm hogging the thread but lobster. Oh my god. I once ordered it in a fairly upmarket restaurant and had to leave the majority of it. That green stuff that's supposed to be delicacy.....

I once drank a "brain haemorrhage" which was Baileys with a swirl of Grenadine syrup. Delicious!

Yes but it must be ripe and ONLY the stalk - leaves and roots highly toxic I believe

Report
whiskyowl · 12/02/2018 15:33

@Graphista - I grow rhubarb, and I had no idea you could eat it raw. Thanks for the tip!

Okra is lovely if it's cooked right, but AWFUL if it isn't ski.

I can't understand gherkins. What's the point? Or pickled eggs, for that matter. I also really dislike cream cakes - neither naughty nor nice, just revolting.

I regret to report that one of the most popular shots at my university bar was a smoker's phlegm which was Yagermeister (sp?) with mayo.

Vile.

What's the big deal with meat on the bone? Most meat has been on a bone at some point!

Quorn. It's vile stuff.

Ochra. Slimy, slimy weirdness.

Pickled eggs. Wrong, just wrong.

Gin. Tastes like ear wax.

Marmite is rank, but I do like Vegemite.

Durian fruit, tastes ok but the smell, dear God the smell. Never again.

I've eaten/still eat - snails, frog's legs, oysters, caviar, olives, capers, sushi, lentils and lots of other stuff mentioned on this thread, so it's definitely different strokes for different folks.

Tofu - a friend offered my cat some. He looked at her like wtaf and hissed at it.

Are you basing its inclusion onto your list on what a cat thought?
