Is because you bleed so much you never have sex? Hmm

Fairenuff · 08/02/2018 20:01

I bled less. Maybe it's not for you?

Graphista · 08/02/2018 20:01

Have you tried different brands/types?

EllJ · 08/02/2018 20:01

I've been on the pill for more years that I care to remember and I only ever bleed when I'm on my break

UgandanKnuckles · 08/02/2018 20:01

You're bu because that's not normal.

TheVanguardSix · 08/02/2018 20:03

You must be on a mini-pill/progesterone only pill.

BertrandRussell · 08/02/2018 20:03

You need to go back to your doctor TOMORROW!

Whatshallidonowpeople · 08/02/2018 20:04

Maybe I should replace the you with I

I was on microgynon for 3 month and bled most of it then, due to bp and my advanced years, they switched to maexani (I think) and I've bled for the almost 3 weeks

Fluffyears · 08/02/2018 20:05

I barely had bleeding with the pill even on the break. I think you haven’t found the right one.

Whatshallidonowpeople · 08/02/2018 20:05

Not mini pill

OP posts:
Whatshallidonowpeople · 08/02/2018 20:06

I can't face changing to another one. I have a couple more days then the break but I'm thinking of just carrying on

OP posts:
Whatshallidonowpeople · 08/02/2018 20:06

It's not heavy, it's just every day

Duchessgummybuns · 08/02/2018 20:07

Back to the GP I reckon OP, that doesn’t sound right at all!

ZigZagIntoTheBlue · 08/02/2018 20:07

Ask to try cerelle, I've not had a period in ages!!

Rewn7 · 08/02/2018 20:07

In on the POP. Cerazette.

I don’t bleed at all. Ever. It’s bliss.

Rewn7 · 08/02/2018 20:08

I was also same in Cerelle. No bleeding at all. They are essentially the same POP.

Sarsparella · 08/02/2018 20:08

That isn’t normal whatsoever, go back to your GP asap, I’ve been on loads of different pills and never had that reaction

calmandbright · 08/02/2018 20:08

Cileste - never ever bleed. Could you try a different one?

Mumoftwoyoungkids · 08/02/2018 20:09

That is what the implant did to me.

Pill / mini pill has been fine.

Fairylea · 08/02/2018 20:09

Definitely try different pills. I’m on cezarette and haven’t had a period since I started it (nearly a year ago).

Mari50 · 08/02/2018 20:10

When I took the pill I only bled on my break and it was a very light bleed, what you’re describing isn’t the norm so I’d definitely speak to your gp.

SpoonfulOfJam · 08/02/2018 20:12

I've just bled for 6 months on the minipill. Just a bit, most days. Had to wear a pantyliner everyday. They irritated me, now I have a massive skin tag on my fanny.

Stopped talking the pill, and apart from the hideous growth, I feel amazing. So much happier and no more bleeding. (I'm sure I won't be saying that when my agonising real periods return, but enjoying it while it lasts. )And we're using condoms while DH tries to sort out a vasectomy. I'm done with hormonal contraceptives.

Evenbetter · 08/02/2018 20:14

The bleed women get when they do the 7 day no pill is not a period, it’s caused by hormone fluctuations and only exists because the man who invented the pill thought women would go insane without a bleed. The pill causes no egg to be released, the womb lining to not thicken, cervical mucous to thicken, so the womb lining doesn’t build up and up, just don’t do the hormone withdrawal bleed, there’s no need.

Whatshallidonowpeople · 08/02/2018 20:14

Next stop is the mini pill but apparently that gives irregular bleedjng. Who needs sex anyway?

OP posts:
Whatshallidonowpeople · 08/02/2018 20:15

Even when I was on the pill before, it start my "period" a day or two before the break. Every month

Buglife · 08/02/2018 20:16

That happened to me on the contraceptive injection, had to wait it out as you can’t remove it or stop it! But I’ve always been fine on Mycrogynan and also Cerezette.
