To ask if a good sports bra for big boobs that doesn't cost the earth exists!?

And where could I get it from?

Post-pregnancy my already massive breasts are now a 34J. I'm just getting back into exercising but my old sports bra is too small now and I can't even go for a long walk without backache, I need a good, high impact sports bra so I can run and do HIIT again.

I personally think Shock Absorbers are the best. You can get them new and much cheaper from eBay if you know what size you are in them (or try on some in shops to find out the size and then come home and order them)! Amazon also have them quite a lot cheaper than most places.

Bastardingcough · 06/02/2018 21:30

Get thee to a Bravissimo store!
Not exactly cheap (£30-40) but excellent fitting service.

Lucymek · 06/02/2018 21:31

Asda zip up ones. Fab

WeShouldOpenABar · 06/02/2018 21:32

I got my f cup one in m and S, don't know if they go to a j but worth a shot

DuchessofStBridget · 06/02/2018 21:33

I second Shock Absorbers - just had a look on my Amazon order and the one I bought only goes up to a G cup, but they may to another one in bigger cup sizes.

Theresahairbrushinthefridge · 06/02/2018 21:33

Bravissimo! They had £5 off sports bras recently.

Theresahairbrushinthefridge · 06/02/2018 21:34

Sorry. I am 34 J. I have a Panache one from bravissimo. Not cheap. But very necessary

BloodyWorried · 06/02/2018 21:34

I second a Shockabsorber. But the older style with two sets of proper catches (one higher up and one in the normal place a bra would fasten).

Pinkywoo · 06/02/2018 21:34

Yep definitely shock absorber, I'm a FF and no bouncing at all, I got fitted at bravissimo and just bought one, then ordered from eBay after that for a quarter of the price.

Fosterdog123 · 06/02/2018 21:37

Shock absorber.

Tistheseason17 · 06/02/2018 21:39

Shock absorber. EBay or Amazon cheaper.

Allthewaves · 06/02/2018 21:40

Simply be do J cup. I used to wear sports bra, one of those bra tops over it then tight fitting vest top. Guaranteed to stop bounce and pain

NotAnotherEmma · 06/02/2018 21:43

My preggo boobs laughed or giggled excessively rather at a well reviewed shock absorber bra. I ended up just buying a bathing suit and swimming at the pool next door.

Allthewaves · 06/02/2018 21:43

Bravissimo stock 3/4. Tbh I don't think shock absorbers go to a j

Skibunny1980 · 06/02/2018 21:46

Enell. Nothing compares. I’ve tried them all.

Skibunny1980 · 06/02/2018 21:48

Christ they are more expensive than I recall! I wear mine twice a week so it gets washed twice a week. Worth the money per wear.

PoppyCherry · 06/02/2018 21:48

I have an Enell (H cup).

Struggle to get it on, but oh my days, they are brilliant

Boopear · 06/02/2018 21:48

Another 34J here! I double up. Underwired sports bra (shockabsorber I think) with a soft one on top. Feels a bit bound up, but I run regularly with no back problems so it seems to do the trick.

PoppyCherry · 06/02/2018 21:49

Agree Ski

Mine has been washed twice a week for 8 years. Still good as new.

Freshprincess · 06/02/2018 21:51

I'm 'Only' a FF but I wouldn't wear anything other than a shock absorber. You need to try it on before you buy though as the band is very tight and I had to go up a size.

Not exactly cheap, but as I'm sure you already know, bras for big boobs aren't.

olivesnutsandcheese · 06/02/2018 21:59

Shock absorber here too however I also have a Freya underwired sports bra that is absolutely fabulous for running. I'm a 32F.
I picked that one up in the Debenhams blue cross sale Smile

DerelictWreck · 06/02/2018 22:00

You're the same size as me and I only use shock absorber - you can get them from John Lewis of Bravissimo who are amazing for big boobs!

notwonderwoman · 06/02/2018 22:03

Shock absorber for me. I'm a 30F

stopfuckingshoutingatme · 06/02/2018 22:04

It’s very simple
Wear two bras - get the M&S boulder holder non wired ones

Sirzy · 06/02/2018 22:05

I wasn’t keen on shock absorbers at all.

I am 28f and Freya are by far the best for me
