To ask if a good sports bra for big boobs that doesn't cost the earth exists!?

And where could I get it from?

Post-pregnancy my already massive breasts are now a 34J. I'm just getting back into exercising but my old sports bra is too small now and I can't even go for a long walk without backache, I need a good, high impact sports bra so I can run and do HIIT again.

Wear 2 of them!

Averyyounggrandmaofsix · 06/02/2018 22:06

Another vote for Shock absorber and I'm 38g.

gruber · 06/02/2018 22:07

Shock absorber. I cycle and run and have several for different activities. Fab.

HuckfromScandal · 06/02/2018 22:08

I am 32f
I double up.
My ordinary bra with a marks and Spencer high impact over the top.
I run 25 miles a week. It makes a huge difference.
No bouncing.

buzzy1 · 06/02/2018 22:13

I also double up so properly harnessed in and go down a cup size to limit the bounce factor.

em9283 · 06/02/2018 23:17

I'm the same size and I have a panache which has an optional racer back. Always clip the racer back on for hiit!

lostherenow · 06/02/2018 23:20

Freya underwired ones are great. Shock Absorbers give a monoboob shape which looks odd and doesn't fit normally under clothes.

quitecontrary123 · 06/02/2018 23:33

Elomi sports bras are really comfortable and you can clip the straps together at the back for extra support.

mmgirish · 06/02/2018 23:43

I think the m and s wired sports bras are very good.

Kittykatmacbill · 06/02/2018 23:46

Shock absorbers but buy them from wiggle as they previous years / season colours for half price.

stevie69 · 06/02/2018 23:49

Enell. Ain't nothing moving Shock

clary · 06/02/2018 23:50

I got a great shock absorber from Wiggle recently, I love it and it was £12 cos of the crazy colour.

Just checked and it goes to HH cups tho they only have 34HH in the black which is £22 still not too bad?

CoolGirlsNeverGetAngry · 06/02/2018 23:53

Get yourself on booborbust.com before you do anything and make sure you’re in the right size. I was “fitted” in m and s as a 36f but this system sizes me as 32GG. Promise it works!

Fairylea · 07/02/2018 06:28

The shock absorbers do come up a bit small round the band so even if they don’t do a J it may be worth trying a few. I’m usually a 30GG in normal bras and I take a 34E in a shock absorber.

Korez · 07/02/2018 06:50

Shock absorbers ultimate run x 1 is good for me... x2 of the old style also holds the girls in place

Chilver · 07/02/2018 06:55

USA pro high impact - sports direct, 2 for £20. I have two of them bought at different times. Currently a 38E I bought size 14 and it takes some wriggling to get in then, but they are really supportive and no bounce when running!

KeiraTwiceKnightley · 07/02/2018 06:55

As a 30j I've never found a shock absorber big enough. I wear a Freya underwired sports bra which is the best I've tried. Costs about 35£?

Winosaurus · 07/02/2018 07:08

I really struggle to get big supportive bras too as I’m very big cheated. I went online and bought “post-surgery” bras which are intended for women that have had boob jobs. They are extremely firm and supportive and better than any sports bra I’ve ever owned!
Finally I can run without risking black eyes from my bouncy boobs Grin

Yeah M&S are now widely recognised as being appalling for fittings because they use an outdated method. Seriously never ever get fitted there!

nonevernotever · 07/02/2018 15:57

I don't like the Shock absorbers either. Until recently I've always had to double up, but now I'm wearing a Shefit one. Doesn't fit the brief for cheapness (at all) but most supportive I've found.

PostNotInHaste · 07/02/2018 16:06

Enell here after Shock Absorber really wasn’t doing the job. Getting it on was a bit of a shock to the system at first but has got easier over time.

WindyWednesday · 07/02/2018 16:10

Panache are the best. You might find a cheaper one on brastop.co.uk in last seasons colours.

I used to double up, but don’t need to with panache

Humphriescushion · 07/02/2018 16:20

I was a " non believer" in sport bras until I bought the underwired sports bra from bravissimo - now I am a convert. Super support and gives a nice shape, and it has saved my others bras from wearing out so has saved me money, which was something I had not thought about until I bought one.

Anditstartsagain · 07/02/2018 16:34

I have solved the never ending sports bra problem buy a shock absorber then go to Matalan and buy a sports crop top for under £10 they are amazing together honestly. I have spent a fortune on bras and these little crop tops are the best i've found with a shock absorber under.

I have this one
