He just went and got me a cup of tea and a hot cross bun. He only put butter one one side. One fucking side . What sort of deviant eats hot cross buns either a) without butter, or b) like a sandwich. I'm ltb.

Everyone knows the correct method of eating a hcb is split , toasted with practically more butter than bun, (on both sides of course, I'm not a heathen unlike your dh )

In our family it's not uncommon to toast your angry rabbit, apply butter and jam then garnish with a few wedges slivers of cheese.

I think you and I need to be bun-pals, Mummmy. I'll tolerate a toasted bun so as not to waste it, but it wouldn't be my preferred state of bun.

At least yours roasts yours for you! My DH for some ungodly reason just takes one out of the packet, and eats it without toasting it, cutting it in half, anything. JUST PLAIN COLD HCB.

There is one you toast.. it's a TEACAKE, that is crunchy and better than any toast you will find and you load it with butter till the stuff drips off it, or a crumpet toasted till the base is HARD,

But there is nothing in this world like a Hot Cross Bunny, with thick butter....
