DP was an arse to me on Saturday so I took myself and DD out and I cried in the car on the way to soft play

I’ve been crying in pain this evening... I’ve sprained muscles in my chest from coughing and/or cracked a rib. GP gave me diazepam but tonight it’s not making any difference Sad and my boyfriend isn’t here tonight to give me a cuddle even

A row with DH

honeyroar · 13/02/2018 21:22

My elderly dog died before Xmas, today I came across her rugs while I was looking for something else, I'd washed them and put them away. I spent five minutes hugging them like a teddy bear and had a little cry. (Probably a bit silly compared to some of the reasons on this thread, but I miss her!)

SwarmOfCats · 13/02/2018 21:23

My boyfriend made me a cup of tea, and I cried. Then he discarded the tea and gave me wine instead and I cried again.

Passmethecakeplease · 13/02/2018 21:25

Not silly at all, Honeyroar Flowers

I'm watching 24 Hours in A&E and there's a lady who had to decide whether she wanted to be resuscitated or not. It got to me. My dad died recently and it was all a bit traumatic and although I love this TV show it makes for hard watching at the moment.

Couple of days ago when I was told newborn dd2 didn't need any more antibiotics and could come home after having swallowed meconium during delivery.

WiseOldHag · 13/02/2018 21:32

A post on here about a US teenager who didn't win a race because a teenage "boy who identified as a girl" (without any adjustment in terms of hormones) won it by a long distance. And I thought what sort of world will my daughters grow up in, because there's a lot more of this on the way. That made me cry.

Writing my suicide note last night

mondaycando1 · 13/02/2018 21:36

Last month in hospital after having a catheter removed after an operation and struggling to pee - it reminded me of the screaming agony of the catheter that went wrong during the spinal block I had with north of ds2 that kept me in hospital for 6 days. Last month's was fine in the end and I was so thankful to the lovely lovely nursing staff who helped me.

mondaycando1 · 13/02/2018 21:37

North?!! Birth obviously!

PutUpWithRain · 13/02/2018 21:38

Yesterday, at the end of an interview. I was being bright & bubbly & passionate & enthusiastic & professional and then said 'this place has given me so much and I...' had to pause because my voice had suddenly gone up several octaves 'just want to give something BACK'. And then this odd little sob came out and they both looked at me very strangely.

I suppose at least I left a lasting impression.

LaLaLolly · 13/02/2018 21:38

Holy please speak to someone in RL!

Please look after yourself.

SJN71 · 13/02/2018 21:40

I cried the other night at a story on one of our “current affairs” shows. About a woman (about 25 or so) who had cystic fibrosis and had been told by doctors that she couldn’t carry a child as it would be dangerous. Her best friend offered to be a surrogate and it was all happy until she very suddenly had a bad turn and died a month before the baby was born! So sad. The husband has now lost his wife and the poor wee baby has no mum. I sobbed and sobbed. Such a sad story.

movinonup · 13/02/2018 21:41

I had a cry walking home from town today, The children were being adorable and I had just ordered flowers for DP and started crying thinking about how much I love him and the DC and how nice it was to have people to love so much.

BeanSprout79 · 13/02/2018 21:41

My ds is coming up for being 5 months old and he's got a bad cold and a chest infection and his cough makes me cry as I feel so bad for him and he's so poorly it breaks my heart to see him like this and there's nothing I can do about it Sad

anna231a · 13/02/2018 21:41

This afternoon when I came across a photo of my cat who was pts in the summer. He was 18 years old and had bone cancer. Then, later, l cried again when I was driving to the shops and I heard Sandy Denny singing “Who Knows Where The Time Goes”.

BackBoiler · 13/02/2018 21:51

ivegotdreadfulpmttoday · 13/02/2018 22:04
