To ask how your Friday night is going?

So I do this every few weeks and it always seems to be liked. Just a nice easy chat!

*How's is your Friday night? What are you upto?

My little Princess is really tired tonight so she's already snuggled in bed playing with her teddies and reading and I'm about to step into a lush (intergalactic bomb) bubble bath for a soak and then I'm going to climb into bed and either read or just relax for an early night. There's only us two here tonight and I'm planning on enjoying the peace and quiet. Hope you all have a good night xx

Been to the pub, 14mo dd now asleep in bed and 7yo ds in the process of brushing teeth (it's always painful getting him to brush them).

I'm enjoying a lovely hot soak, chilling out after an emotional couple of days, while dh gets the m&s Indian meal for two ready! A glass of wine, some tv snuggled up in bed beckons.

Oh alas Black, both past toddler now (7 and 10) :)

I'm making myself some cocktails after a disastrous interview today. DH & DD are out.

So far I've had prosecco mixed with a shot of gin and topped up with lavender tonic. Not sure I'll make it to the next one

@e1y1 have you been to that meat place yet? Is it best in bury or something. My mum and sister have got so many nice pieces of meat from there. I'm going to get some next week I think x

Dh works friday night, so im planning on a bath, spot of meditation and early night.

Dc are both on screens downstairs. I am in bed, trying to summon up energy to get them up here, changed etc.. Remembered i didnt get round to finishing making dds bed.

I am reading all your comments and I hope that everyone feeling off or under the weather feel better soon, everyone having their takeaways enjoy them, everyone watching movies with a wine enjoy that, everyone just pottering you enjoy it too. And everything else ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY! I'm going to struggle to reply to everyone separately because I didn't expect so many responses so fast but I'm sending you all love in what ever you're doing xxx

@timshortfforthalia can I ask what app/book/podcasts etc etc you'd recommend for your meditation. I've been using the Pacifica app and someone on YouTube but looking to try something different xx

Son 1 is at the gym, Son 2 just got back from the gym, DH is cooking himself a vegetarian meal and the rest of us are having kebabs.

TV, wine, food and early night for me - had a busy day and got a busy tomorrow

DD is sleeping down my Parents house (only opposite so not far to go) and DS just eating some Supper before I get him ready for bed!

Dd temp has sky rocketed today. In bed with her next to me. I could tell as soon as she woke up yesterday this weekend would be a tough one

I'm being induced on Thursday so me and DP just enjoyed our last child free Friday night. Yummy dinner. Candles. Jessica Jones on Netflix. But in true heavily pregnant fashion I have now taken myself off to bed for an early night

Waiting for my daughter to get back from Guides so we can watch 'Wonder'.

Ate lots of cheese, drank some wine and watched the soaps.

I used to love Fridays but not so much now.

On my Friday off I am thinking about going to work tomorrow so can't really do much.

On my Friday on I sleep at work.

I miss having a Friday off and knowing I don't have to get up the next day and do anything.

DH is out with some friends (rare occurrence)

I'm on the sofa vaguely watching Grand Designs, looking on Pinterest for house renovation ideas and with Footner on. How's that for multi tasking

It's my 15 day old daughter's first night at home after being taken to neonatal at 3 hours old on the 18th Jan.

I'm in charge of three hourly tube feeding and I'm expressing as well so I'll be sleeping in two hourly shifts [DP is on hand but I'm the one who had all the training etc... so for the time being it's going to be my domain]

I'm so freaking happy to have my baby home though. It's been the longest few weeks of my life.

So far been hectic, was supposed to finish work at 5pm, however an emergency popped up and didn’t finish until 7pm, but as a senior these things arise and these things cannot be helped.

I’ve just done a hours cardio at my gym, as I’m training for a 10k at the end of things month, plus pretty mudder, tough mudder, and the great north run.

Dh has just put my tea in the oven (stuffed chicken with asparagus and root mash) and I’m currently drinking a well deserved glass of 🍷!

Got home from work and our bath had leaked through the ceiling😫 now ordering a dominos after a long day

Not well. Had a meeting with stbexh re finances they ended up in an inevitable argument. I'm very upset and wondering what the heck I'm going to do going forwards.
Not the Friday night I would have liked!

On the train on my way home from work. Good week as I passed my probation.

Will have dinner and chill with the kids before bed.

Hard to be honest.

Our last dc5 is going away next week on a gap trip for 5 months. Dh works away all week so it will just be me and the dog after looking after being a mum since 1989. And a sahm.

Have to say feeling very sad
