So I do this every few weeks and it always seems to be liked. Just a nice easy chat!

*How's is your Friday night? What are you upto?
*
My little Princess is really tired tonight so she's already snuggled in bed playing with her teddies and reading and I'm about to step into a lush (intergalactic bomb) bubble bath for a soak and then I'm going to climb into bed and either read or just relax for an early night. There's only us two here tonight and I'm planning on enjoying the peace and quiet. Hope you all have a good night xx

Just got home from the gym. Kids in bed. Going to have a g&t and dinner then early night as working tomorrow

HarrietKettleWasHere · 02/02/2018 19:31

In a rough-as-a-stoat's-bum pub in the east end while I wait for my train back to my hometown for the weekend. Got an hour and a half to kill.

Good people watching, good music, the bouncer said I only look 25 when I produced my ID (I'm 32) and they have a very nice prosecco at £4.50 for a mini bottle, and I've got some crisps for my dinner, a quiet corner and my magazine.

I'm quite happy Grin

Happy Friday everybody!

Amanduh · 02/02/2018 19:32

We had fish and chips which were lovely, but DS is a bit under the weather bless his heart and just wants to be cuddles so I’ve been trapped under sleepy baby for the last hour. He’s asleep in his cot now, but DH is off to a experience day thing in the morning (at 6.30) and i’ll have the baby all day so we’ll be in bed early doors, not even a glass of wine! Tomorrow night will have to be for prosecco and tv instead Smile

ThatFuckingVase · 02/02/2018 19:32

Strawberries and cream muffins longta ... they sound incredible! Where did you get them from?

TossDaily · 02/02/2018 19:34

DP has A Cold.

I'm on the wine.

Pompom42 · 02/02/2018 19:34

DD1 is out DD2 in bed I’m sitting on sofa drinking tea and eating toast as couldn’t be bothered to eat a proper dinner. Will be in bed by 9 as have to be up for work at 3am 🙈

SavageBeauty73 · 02/02/2018 19:37

I'm chilling. DD just made us all pancakes for dinner. One DS is at a sleeper, the other is playing the Xbox.

I'm drinking tea under a duvet on the sofa as I've had proper flu and went back to work on Thursday. I love relaxing Fridays.

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 02/02/2018 19:37

I am waiting for DH to come down from reading to DS to crack open the bottle of sparkly rose in my fridge to celebrate completing dry January! It will be our first alcoholic drink since New Years Eve. I predict I will be asleep 10 minutes later Grin

e1y1 · 02/02/2018 19:38

I’ve never been to Garstang, but heard good things p, I actually speak to people from there quite a lot (but I do for the whole U.K. to be fair due to job).

Hello @blackcoffeeredwine :) yes it is great here, we have a lot of great things and I can’t help take pride in how our town looks overall. But I love especially how close we are to so many other thing (as fore mentioned Manchester centre, I can be over the Pennines in about 20 minutes and in to Yorkshire in about 40).

Sparklesocks · 02/02/2018 19:39

Good thanks! DP and I are waiting on a takeaway, I have a pretty chilled weekend planned - getting my haircut in the morning (long overdue) and researching places to go during our holiday next week. Just need a glass of wine and I’m sorted..

Enirroc · 02/02/2018 19:41

Rubbish... Was meant to be going out with a friend who was also meant to be trying to set me up with someone but she's cancelled, so I'm sat in the house alone, getting seriously over emotional and upset at my ex who's no doubt having a wonderful time without me...

Sigh

Please cheer me up with fun stories!

NewBallsPlease00 · 02/02/2018 19:46

I work ft and currently have 1
Ill child 1 recovering child and a laid up husband, I've cooked cleaned listened to reading and need the kids to go to sleep so I can pop out for 1 quick drink for a friends birthday then back by 9, except that at this rate it won't be worth it because no one is zzzz
Fed up of being so tired
Fed up of Hideous bedtimes
But!! Extremely grateful for all I have having heard very sad news today!

TheBadgersMadeMeDoIt · 02/02/2018 19:47

All good here, thanks! The week started pretty rubbish but all seems brighter now. Took DD to Rainbows and had a sneaky vino in the pub round the corner with DH before going back to fetch her. Just put her to bed and read her some Harry Potter (which I've been looking forward to since I conceived her). DH is cooking us steak for dinner and there's more wine in the fridge...and we've finally given in and signed up to Netflix.

So yeah...well done, Friday.

blackcoffeeredwine · 02/02/2018 19:49

e1y1 yeah it’s great, I’m in between manc and bury but love both, Manchester is really the best city in the world in my opinion! Bet I’ve seen you at baby groups if you have a toddler Grin

Trying to get the kids to bed so I can play skyrim (I got it for Christmas and have hardly got the chance to play it). DH is working so just me and the PS4 tonight!

VioletCharlotte · 02/02/2018 19:51

Pretty dull to be honest. I did the food shop after work, came home and put that away, cooked dinner and cleaned up the kitchen. Now I'm messing about on Mumsnet and Facebook, rather than watching any of the TV I moan I never have time to watch Hmm

savingmysanity · 02/02/2018 19:55

I've finished work early, been to the gym and come home to water pouring through my bathroom ceiling from the flat above.......again.......

But now I'm having a brew, watching call the midwife and thinking about stuffing my face with a takeaway

ladybirdie26 · 02/02/2018 19:56

I've just done bedtime with DD now tucked up in bed! Thrown my pjs on, Indian just been delivered, hubby dishing it up as we speak. Diet Coke, and peaky blinders on Netflix. Jobs a good' un.
Hope you are all having a good Friday night!

MiserableAsSin · 02/02/2018 19:57

Dd1- 12 - has just made a batch of oat cookies
Dd2 has just come back from the pta movie night
I'm putting the 2 yo to bed, having a cuddle as I've not seen him all day and we're listening to classical radio as he nods off and I do my mn rounds
When he's asleep I'm going to vacuum the living room floor and do a quick polish- 10 min , and then put my feet up with a mug of tea and either Netflix or spend time with dh

MiserableAsSin · 02/02/2018 19:57

Ladybird, I was thinking about catching up on peaky blinders too

ladybirdie26 · 02/02/2018 19:58

@MiserableAsSin I mainly watch it for tommy Shelby 😍😍😍

alpineibex · 02/02/2018 19:58

I was making a coffee while peeling and dicing the potatoes tonight, however when I went to scoop them into the pan, I instead scooped half of them into the bin. Needless to say, I needed that coffee.

prettymess · 02/02/2018 19:59

I’m listening to the radio (6 music) with a cup of green tea and book.

DC are upstairs in their rooms. DH is on the computer in the dining room.

overduemamma · 02/02/2018 20:00

Both kids downstairs (3) and (11m) I'm
Currently in the bath. Had to walk home from work, took me an hour :( don't know what I'll be watching tonight as i never have the remote! Happy Friday.... x
