Putting it hear for traffic
I have a 9 year old dd who yesterday had a supply teacher in school & the teacher gripped my dd in the bottom back region & pinched her to stop her going into the computer room without even telling her first even she come home showed me & told me what had happened she was left with marks on her back so I took photos & had her write her account of the event went to the school this morning & seen head & was she said it had to be dealt with by Edcaution as teacher was from agency & took photos & statement from me Itold me supply teacher isn't there today & sent my dd into class i felt very unsatisfied by our discussion just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience & what advice you can give or if anyone knows more about this as to me its a very serious matter to her it seemed like a everyday thing very concerned by it all? Oh and Desmondo, it's great to hear that you "know" about these issues. It's reassuring for me as a teacher to be aware that your special involvement is focused in the right places. But while you're clutching your pearls and brandishing your child protection sabre I really hope you are at least keeping one eye on the genuine, grinding and frankly heartbreaking child abuse and neglect that children deal, with every single day. I for one know where I would rather see thinly stretched resources being used.

Unfortunately as police we don't get to pick and choose what we deal with. Our country's laws and acts of parliament dictate that. We are merely servents. What I will say is that we deal with all ends of the child abuse spectrum and believe me a minor assault by a supply teacher doesnt get me pearl clutching but believe me some of the things I deal with do!

My son was grabbed by his plaster cast by a supply teacher she didn't call out to him or warn him when he called out in pain just stared at him he has witnesses any advice to take I've obviously contacted the school

@Motherhen18 You might be better off starting a new thread about your son rather than using this old one.

New to this how do I do that

@Motherhen18 Go to the top of this thread where it says AIBU. Click on that and it will take you to a list of threads. At the top of this should be an option 'start a new thread in this topic'. Click this and it will take you to a screen where you can put in a thread title, and a box where you can post your question as you posted it above. Choose a title that will get people's attention, e.g. Supply teacher grabbed my son's plaster cast - what should I do?
