AIBU to go to Costa four times a week?

Reading all the threads about wasting money on coffees / mobile phones, I am wondering if most people would consider having a coffee in Costa four times a week an extravagance? I can afford it but am interested in hearing whether most people would consider this an unnecessary extravagance as my Dm and Mil are horrified at the wasting of money??

I work in an office and an ex-colleague of mine would get a coffee from Nero twice per day. Most of my colleagues get a take away coffee everyday.

Along as you can afford it then it sounds fine to me.

I love a coffee from either Costa or Pret and have 3-4 a week (usually in so no throwaway cup). But I don't drink alcohol so its a cheaper habit than going to the pub or out drinking at the weekend.

Then that would be a reusable cup wouldn’t it, Sparkling!

Just popping in for a coffee on your way past I'd see as extravagance. Making a point of taking time out to have coffee with a colleague, friend or loved one is money well spent.
