Not really an AIBU I suppose, but what is it with this latest fashion of men not wearing socks?
Don't their shoes smell?

Are we sure they're not all cheating with low cut trainer socks soaking up the cheesy effluent and fending off the blisters?

Can't say I've seen much of it but if I had I'm not sure it would bother me. Probably registers a lot lower on the offensiveness scale than the airing of calves, thighs and barenaked chests that occurs during the summer.

If we see man with no socks on, my DH and I look at each other and say ...."it's bleached!"

Comes from the Ed Sheeran song New man ...
#I heard he spent five hundred pounds on jeans
Goes to the gym at least six times a week
Wears both shoes with no socks on his feet
And I hear he's on a new diet at watches what he eats
He's got his eyebrows plucked and his asshole bleached#

Makes us giggle!!!!

Would trainer socks show I wonder.

Have none of you heard of invisible socks then? Designed to be, you know, hidden by the shoe?
I would guess that some men wear them for comfort. Those who feel comfortable without them probably don't bother.
Just like women then, as a PP pointed out. I don't wear socks much unless it's really freezing cold. It's no one else's business, just as it isn't any of my business what another person - man or woman - wears.
As long as the private parts are covered and there are no obscene or offensive messages or images on the clothing then what TF has an individuals clothing choices got to do with anyone else?
