user1474652148 · 22/01/2018 21:26

Playroom yes - at a push

MyToeHurtsBetty · 22/01/2018 21:31

Awful and i have NO taste whatsoever

Florrieboo · 22/01/2018 21:33

When I saw the title of this thread I knew this would be the chandelier in question.

I like it but not for my house, I admire anyone who can make it work in their house.

Reluctant2ndtimer · 22/01/2018 21:35

I hankered after this for years as they used to sell it in urban outfitters in Manchester for £130!!
Bought it eventually for £35 off eBay or amazon. It looked great in my (otherwise tasteful honestly,) Victorian hallway in my previous house but does not go in my current 70s bungalow. I think it’s easier to go bohemian in a Victorian house. It’s now in my mums country cottage and looks ok but not as good as in my old house.

BetterEatCheese · 22/01/2018 21:36

I love it! We have the same design in bright pink in the bedroom. I wish I'd seen that one though, I prefer it!

cabbage67 · 22/01/2018 21:39

Awful

Sunflowersforever · 22/01/2018 21:42

I thought the title said Chandler, like from Friends. Hence surprise at click through Confused

Starryskiesinthesky · 22/01/2018 21:49

Not nice.

BigBaboonBum · 22/01/2018 21:55

Depends if you’re running a brothel or not I suppose

CaptainApollo · 22/01/2018 22:03

Ooh we have this! Rented house, big Victorian semi, otherwise very blandly decorated in shades of white. It’s in the hall, never even notice it to be honest but I suppose it is a bit boho. Probably been here for ages, the front door is a lovely shade of purple so I think somebody with “kooky” tastes has lived here at some point. I quite like it for breaking the monotony but we probably won’t live here long so I don’t have to care too much!

pteradactyl · 22/01/2018 22:15

Not a fan here I'm afraid

Suzielou66 · 23/01/2018 00:01

Tacky, plasticy mess. No style. Looks like it’s been thrown up by a colour blind unicorn.

Saracen · 23/01/2018 00:56

I would buy that for someone under the age of nine, if I had money to burn. They'd hate me for it three years later when I hadn't got around to changing it.

SmallBlondeMama · 23/01/2018 01:37

Just terrible

WilyMinx · 23/01/2018 05:05

I don't have a problem with multicolour but the solid red "candlesticks" holding the bulbs look cheap and mismatched with the rest of it.

FullOfChoc · 23/01/2018 05:30

I have this chandelier in a high ceiling, white painted room. When I was considering it everyone (apart from my niece) said awful, tacky, have you lost your mind etc. Now it’s up they’ve all admitted I was right and it makes the room! At £35 you can change it in a year if you hate it.

OFuckShitAndBollocks · 23/01/2018 07:48

I absolutely love it!! Gorgeous!!

labazs · 23/01/2018 08:27

boho but a bit ott

Crumbelina · 23/01/2018 08:31

No lie, I've just seen this chandelier displayed in a very grand hotel on television.

The Furchester Hotel. Grin

Strongmummy · 23/01/2018 09:00

I’d like it if it didn’t look really cheap. Sorry

DragonNoodleCake · 23/01/2018 09:06

For me hideous - but each to their own

DagenhamRoundhouse · 23/01/2018 09:07

Like something you'd win at a funfair.
