I like it to look at but wouldn't like to live with it.

IllHaveALargeGlassOfRed · 22/01/2018 18:06

@Gingersstuff - a pink kitchen sounds gorgeous! I'd have it kitted out with multi coloured appliances too - something that would make me smile when I get up in the morning!

Orangecake123 · 22/01/2018 18:08

If you like it do it!

nannygoat50 · 22/01/2018 18:09

🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮

Westnorwood · 22/01/2018 18:10

Chandelier = dreadful.

This is awful. But do it, no harm lost if it doesn’t work and you have to return.

Jaxhog · 22/01/2018 18:11

Absolutely gorgeous for a 3 year old's bedroom who's in to fairies, rainbows, unicorns and princesses.
Hard to see how it would fit anywhere else.

MissMouseMcPhee · 22/01/2018 18:11

I'm with the depends on the room brigade. I can see it in a Mexican inspired, bo-ho design scheme with lots of greenery and some Frida Kahlo - esq prints about the place.

WoofWoofMooWoof · 22/01/2018 18:11

It looks like a clown pooped it out.

😂😂😂😂😂😂

JanetStWalker · 22/01/2018 18:14

Oh fuck no, it's monstrous!

BrownTurkey · 22/01/2018 18:14

I kind of hoped it would be this one! I have seen it at a local farm shop cafe and absolutely love it. I get why people hate it too, but I still want it!

MissMouseMcPhee · 22/01/2018 18:16

Like in this room -

BrownTurkey · 22/01/2018 18:17

I would love to have it in a really ott tiny bathroom or something

Katherine2626 · 22/01/2018 18:17

It must be from the Mad Hatter's House - just WHO designed that????

PencilsInSpace · 22/01/2018 18:19

It's extremely gaudy and I love it Grin

Teacher22 · 22/01/2018 18:20

It is a very garish piece and, no, I don't care for it. However, it has affinities with traditional Venetian blown glass chandeliers which also feature coloured glass and I like those, especially in situ.

Lonelynessie · 22/01/2018 18:21

It’s awful, but the 8 year old in me wants it 😂

BrownTurkey · 22/01/2018 18:21

Heh, dh says I should get it for my gym room. I think it is a ploy to keep it out of the living room.

simiisme · 22/01/2018 18:24

I'd prefer it if it wasn't coloured. And I love colourful things.

travellerexpat · 22/01/2018 18:26

In a room with these sorts of colours it would work, but I'd get a migraine with all those colours in my house

beltanelove · 22/01/2018 18:26

My FIL has this in his dining room. .

I think it’s great for a spot of kitsch in a room that’s not too busy. Maybe a room with relaxed rustic features to neutralise the plastic look of it. At least it doesn’t take itself too seriously!

therealposieparker · 22/01/2018 18:30

I considered it for my DD, but it was about £150!!

Thequeenisdeadboys · 22/01/2018 18:31

I Love it !

DavetheCat2001 · 22/01/2018 18:33

It reminds me a bit of a candlestick I've had for donkey's years, currently residing on a kitchen shelf!

Is this chandelier gorgeous or awful?
Sara107 · 22/01/2018 18:34

Depends on the room, I don't think I could live with it. I would be chiefly concerned about how much dust it would collect (loads in my house) and what a pain it would be to clean!!

wowfudge · 22/01/2018 18:36

Hideous - and I recognise it. The people we bought our house from had it in one of the rooms. It was the only light fitting they took with them! It was also the only one I'd said to DP we would replace pronto.
