BIL’s wedding in August, dh is best man, dd (14) bridesmaid and ds (11) an usher.

It won’t be super formal but I wanted something different to just a normal dress. Would wear hair in a messy side bun with a flower probably and have ordered a pair of gorgeous matching heels.

Opinions please lovely mumsnetters..Smile

It looks pale grey to me. And it's a jump suit. And it's patterned
So yes, fine
If it was white/ivory and a dress and plain or lace then it wouldn't be. It looks nothing bridal like at all

HisBetterHalf · 21/01/2018 09:59

Really nice. Coast quality is really good too. Have a great time.

Wilburissomepig · 21/01/2018 09:59

There are some very chippy people on this thread!

Grin I would go as far as to say there are some total aresholes on here today.

Ignore the shitty comments Queen, they really don't matter and they love it if you leave the thread. Some of the more unpleasant posts are not unexpected, as those people rarely have anything nice to say.

Blackteadrinker77 · 21/01/2018 09:59

If you go on the coast website it looks very white.

GlitterUnicornsAndAllThatJazz · 21/01/2018 10:00

I like it but I think the shoes are lame/naff when paired with it, sorry.

I would be going for some silver metallic wedges and a bright clutch to de-brideify the whiteness of it.

neighbourhoodwitch · 21/01/2018 10:00

stunning!!

MrsT4 · 21/01/2018 10:00

I was eyeing up this exact jumpsuit yesterday for a July wedding.

But I’ll be approx 4 weeks post baby so don’t know if a jumpsuit is a bit of a risk round the mum tum.

It’s beautiful though.

HotelEuphoria · 21/01/2018 10:01

I love it, I do t think it's bridey at all.

FindoGask · 21/01/2018 10:01

It's lovely! I think some of these replies are just being difficult for the sake of it.

Silvercatowner · 21/01/2018 10:01

Don’t wear - everyone will just think you are desperate to get married yourself

WTAF???

HotelEuphoria · 21/01/2018 10:01

*DONT

FubbyChucker · 21/01/2018 10:01

I agree Wilburissomepig

Sunbeam18 · 21/01/2018 10:01

I think its gorgeous

FindoGask · 21/01/2018 10:02

I mean, it's a fricking patterned jumpsuit. Hardly bridal.

Bluntness100 · 21/01/2018 10:04

I think it's the base colour that's the issue, especially when coupled with flowers in thr hair etc. But if the brides happy and so is the op, then no issue. Yes I think a lot of the guests will be a bit Hmm but the op can just ignore that.

HuskyMcClusky · 21/01/2018 10:06

It’s not white, or cream, or even a dress.

I love it and think it’d look fab.

wifeyhun · 21/01/2018 10:06

I think it is fine for a wedding, some proper weird comments on this thread.

Bluntness100 · 21/01/2018 10:07

It does look like a dress on the model and the colour does look ivory to be fair,,,

NoFuckingRoomOnMyBroom · 21/01/2018 10:07

I think it's gorgeous but I wouldn't wear it to a wedding-partly because it does look very white but mainly because you're going to be wearing it all day & jumpsuits are a pain in the arse when you need the toilet...

chocolateiamydrug · 21/01/2018 10:07

lovely but not for a wedding

AuntLydia · 21/01/2018 10:09

I don't think the op needs to worry too much about the guests thinking some of the horrible shit suggested on here. She seems perfectly pleasant and normal so her friends/family probably aren't a bunch of arseholes.

HuskyMcClusky · 21/01/2018 10:09

and the colour does look ivory to be fair,,,

Hmm. In that link, it does. Maybe the pattern mitigates it? Not sure now!

CandiedPeach · 21/01/2018 10:10

Shoes I’d go for something like the blues, not necessarily in blue.

But if you want more traditional I’d go for something like the pewter rather than the nude. And I don’t rate coast shoes for the money, so I’d avoid buying there’s.

It’s a lovely outfit though Smile

I think it's lovely. It is a very pale grey with a pinky tone to it, not white. I would not have cared if someone had worn it to my wedding. You will look great-wish I could pull off something like that, and walk in those shoes.

Laughing at the posters saying you will look like you are desperate to get married when DH is going to be best man!!

blueshoes · 21/01/2018 10:13

It's lovely and different from the usual wedding guest outfit in a stylish way. The bride has signed off on it, so there are no concerns on the colour front, which are mitigated with your bright accessories. Brilliant!

I was at a wedding and was admiring another guest who was in a fluid jumpsuit.
