Got this idea from the 'creepiest place' thread.

Mine are Cape Cornwall, there is something about the way the little bays entertain you either side of the mount. And Breedon Hill, those folding meadows, ever increasing in height, broken by hedges replicating the pattern work of a turtle's shell as they rise and gently curve away. It would be awesome to live there, the views and sunsets must look amazing.

Kuttanad in India. It is like venice but sooooo much better. The home stay experience was the best that I have ever experienced.

On a canal boat in the middle of the Camargue. No other people for miles, just flamingos and wild horses.

ClaryFray · 23/02/2018 06:56

Blackwood forest.

Almost anywhere in Golden Bay, New Zealand. I can see myself retiring there.

One of the hidden beaches in the far NW Scotland on a warm day, listening to lightly lapping water and utter peace.

Or atop one of the mountains in the same place, on a hot day

Abel Tasman National Park and Great Barrier Island, both in New Zealand. Beautiful, stunning and peaceful.

Blue Lagoon spa in Iceland in the snow. So peaceful, tranquil and soothing!

Carne beach on the Roseland peninsula in Cornwall. We've spent some wonderful days there, having the whole beach to ourselves.

Sark. Watching the tide come in at Derrible Bay is so soothing and relaxing.

Northumberland.

Scabbersley · 23/02/2018 07:24

I'd love to go to Northumberland.

The bench at my allotment. Gorgeous view over the hills, on a summer day when the bees are in full buzz.

Jaygee61 · 23/02/2018 07:55

The Isle of Skye.

We have a house in Ireland overlooking an Atlantic estuary and mountains. Sitting looking out at the view on a rainy day with a turf fire blazing, a glass of wine and my kindle full of books to read is heavenly.
