Why is the other thread closed?!? I was enjoying reading through it?!!

On every single thread on MN, posters use the space to discuss, process and clarify their thoughts.

That's exactly what has happened here: posters have discussed why FOD's Instagram account makes them feel uncomfortable, they have processed it is probably because the twins look dazed and distressed in photos which make up 90% of his feed, they have then clarified it currently doesn't warrant a notification.

It doesn't mean anyone has lost their grip on reality or would think the tired old trope of a child photographed with a beer is funny, let alone reality.

It all comes down to whether you believe everything you see, though. Some clearly do. I've been following MOD and FOD thanks to these threads, (bet they're glad of all the extra traffic, you're all leading more to watch something you disagree with, kind of contributing to their exposure!) which is kind of an own goal lol.
His feed looks like a feed with a USP of muddling through Parenthood. Lots of other Instas/YouTubers/bloggers etc do it. They don't look 'distressed.' It looks like a snapshot into normal family life. Do you read the captions that go with the photos? As it makes more sense if you (general you) do instead of just having palpitations over actual pictures.
Why just the singling out of these? It's so weird.

Yes, it's all fake. The twins are actually photoshopped into every picture of FOD and I heard a rumour they aren't even actual twins! It's one kid CGI'd to look like two.

The twins certainly look distressed and confused quite frequently in my opinion and the middle daughter looks a bit grumpy or awkward from time to time.

The USP is problematic from a stereotyping point of view and the reason these accounts are discussed is because people are familiar with them as they have a very large following. I don't think there is any conspiracy?

Ffs, this thread is a joke. A number of posters (not just one) have mentioned Social Services. Someone even said about getting one of FOD's videos to show SS!

Quite a few of you seem to genuinely believe FOD is putting the twins at risk of harm yet my suggestion to DM him or Clemmie was brushed aside. Surely if you were actually worried about those children you would do something about it, not just chat about it on a forum.

No way would Social Services have any interest in FOD, even if he was black and skint. Also I found that comment (I'm aware those are not the words used) shocking.

I don't recall one person on any of these numerous threads posting that they find FOD 'funny'.

Many other words have been used to describe him, but not funny.

There's lots out there with huge followings and this USP. So why just this one? Some seem to have trouble with the notion of not always being as it seems, and a prolific poster resurfacing is just making the whole "other viewpoint" look deranged.

We've been directed to only discuss accounts we personally follow by Sofia, but I wouldn't mind perusing similar accounts that post 'snap shots into family life' that aren't 'reality'.

It might help me clarify this concept, which I'll admit I find confusing.

I've not come across other male instagrammers who post in the same way as FOD. However, I am happy to take your word for it and my views about them would be exactly the same

Madamegrizzly you seem to be struggling. Sofia was clearly saying if people were that bothered, they'd be reporting, not just bitching on MN. Then people say "of COURSE we know it's not real" then in the next breath others are saying it in all seriousness to report. Different to what Sofia was saying. Showing that people really do struggle with this and believe it.
