I agree @allmy and @800 but I think that's the whole thing with MOD, she's not a midwife doing good. She is an instagrammer running a successful business and making a lot of money. She doesn't seem to use the children the way FOD does, and why she lets him put himself and them out there like that I've no idea.

I'll await the large Boden delivery for the girls after that promotion!

Agree it’s her choice @FlyingBird but IMO from a business perspective it’s quite short sighted of her. Midwifery is her USP and what makes her stand out over the other mummy floggers. More advocacy/charity work would widen her exposure and influence, opening up further flogging opportunities and make her a bit more relatable.

Using Mother Pukka as an example, she does plenty of flogging but doesn’t get nearly the flack that MOD does. There are several reasons for this of course but the key one must be that ultimately she is peddling for a great cause.

Always interesting to see how IGers use stories for things they don't want permanently recorded.... like Boden handouts or rallying the troops before an ad campaign to deflect criticism. Obviously aware that they shouldn't be permanent.....

Mod and. Fod are getting cringier by the minute. I was in Portugal at the same time as them on their gifted Holiday. It was all a bit cringe.

Doesn't MOD already have some kind of deal with Boden? I remember seeing a video of DLAM and Mod at a Boden launch party.

I can't imagine (otherwise) why you'd show your followers what you've been internet shopping unless it was part of a campaign or you're on a blag.

@pavlovaprincess call me cynical but can't help but think because she's had a deal in the past it's simply fishing for some goodies.

Why pay for stuff when you can try and get it for free by showing and praising the company for the lovely stuff you want to order?

I feel like FOD and MOD are getting it so wrong. Those little girls are so overexposed and it is really alarming that anyone with minimal effort can find out their home address.

Am I the only one here who thinks that guy and those twins are paid actors/actresses though? Surely he's not your regular guy down the supermarket with all those cringeworthy staged shots?

It's not clear from Mod's stories though, is it? I don't think the 'normal mum' Boden campaign went down very well so the collaboration could be over. It could just be an out and out fishing for free stuff on Mod's part.

If FOD finds parenting those kids sooo kerazeee shouldn't his wife step in and take over? Or does she not care about her kids staring wide eyes in to a camera lens crying? I find it so so weird and borderline (I can't say what I think or I'll get banned)!

Also, I suppose this is what happens when you've done sneaky advertising in the past and you're also not above slyly asking for freebies.

FOD appears to have no regard for the safety of his children when he’s producing tedious videos of his children.

Recording them walking down the stairs wrapped up in far too long towels that they could so easily trip over. Recording them underneath cot mattresses. Walking in their grow-bags. Climbing up on shelves. Recording them all in the car while he is driving and talking into the camera at the same time - can’t understand how he has some car deal with Renault and does the opposite of safe driving. Carrying a toddler in a supermarket shopping bag. And the more ridiculous his recordings get, the more the twins look totally bewildered and confused,

This is exactly how I feel @dillydilly there was a picture of one distressed twin in the floor with the other stood on her. I am just baffled as to why he has so many followers and why on earth his wife thinks this is all so exceptable. I would be so cross if my husband had been doing this with my babies. It actually breaks my heart and have unfollowed him as questioned myself as to why I was. His wife to me is just so fake now. Everything she says and does I feel there is an ulterior motive which mainly is I want something or I need to sell something mainly just greed. Her feed isn’t diverse at all and is aimed at only one kind of women I think. I don’t want to say exactly what I think as I’m not allowed. I wish people would look more closely and see them for who they and what they are trying to do. Stop using the children to make them money!

I wonder whether the twins are allowed to run amok all the time or just for FOD’s stories? It must be a nightmare trying to modify their behaviour when part of the family income relies on them running around feral.

That story of MoD's is seriously shameless and grabby- she has just sent them a shopping list of clothes! I wonder how quickly Boden will jump. She is obviously keen to protect her brand as, once again, she is using her stories - too much greed should never be permanently recorded!

@dillydilly and @wren I'm so glad someone else has said this. When I've touched upon safety previously I've been shot down by some and accused of just hating and a social worker claimed the kids were obviously loved etc. But actually it disturbs me and I would go mad at my husband if he was doing this even if it is just for show. Which I don't think it can be as those kids obviously do that to their beds all the time. At one point he lowered the cot bases so they couldn't climb out but Clemmie thought it didn't look right, so they climb out even in their sleeping bags. At this points beds might be a safer option. The stairs freak me out to. But maybe as a mum who's spent hours in a&e with boys I'm a little more wary. It does just seem his account is making money out of their vulnerability and his questionable care. It's wearing thin.

The amount of times I’ve winced at one of his posts compared to anyone I’ve ever followed is astonishing. Babies on tables, babies just about walking down stairs in long bath robes babies running in different directions in shops, not being strapped into pushchairs, trying to walk in sleeping bags, being filmed whilst fighting, filmed upset and distressed the list goes on and on! I really think people need to ask themselves why are they watching it, like I did. I could say other things but I feel he gets away with it living in a big house and being who he now is if you get what I mean? There is no way that if he was the babysitter or a teacher or a nursery worker or the nanny that this kind of thing would be allowed to happen. How many parents would go bananas if someone in charge of your children was doing this BUT because they are his it’s ok. Don’t get it!

There was a post a while ago where one twin had bashed the other one at nursery and she had a massive bump and bruise on her forehead and a tear running down her face and looked really really upset - I thought it was really upsetting that he made a big joke of it and then loads of idiots were going on about how funny it was. At the time I was just astounded that no one showed any sympathy at all or called anyone out on a big joke being made of it.

If one of my children did that to one of their siblings, I would be very upset and would be taking a long hard look....

I would be really interested to know what and why people find this either funny or acceptable? This sort of thing is going out to thousands of people thousands! Where are the regulations in place to safe guard this kind of behaviour and yes I do feel very strongly about it!
