Just paid 40 quid at a not particularly polish place for a blunt cut and straighten finish

Maybe a Polish (or any other nationality) place would be cheaper?

£22.00 - Wash, trimmed up & blow dry.

ihatethecold · 09/01/2018 11:51

I'd say £40 is quite cheap. Mines about £65 i think. Colour is about £120

(Kent)

LyraPotter · 09/01/2018 11:54

I pay £75 for a full colour, cut and blow dry. I don't think that's cheap, but my hairdresser is brilliant and totally worth the spend.

userabcname · 09/01/2018 11:56

Cheapest I can find it (and like the way it's done) is £29. I'm near Bristol.

Peanutbuttercheese · 09/01/2018 11:58

An express hairdressers costs 5.99 for a dry cut, the place I go to charges £40 for a cut and finish and the crazily overpriced one that looks pretentious charges £60.

My friend pays £120 for a cut and colour but this is back down South.

lucylouuu · 09/01/2018 11:59

old place was £80 new place is £35

NancyJoan · 09/01/2018 11:59

£65 ish, in South Wales.

MozzchopsThirty · 09/01/2018 12:00

£54 for cut & blow dry
£110 if I have half head of highlights

That's in a naice part of Cardiff

I pay it because he does a great job and takes a whole hour.
My previous hairdresser charged £35 but it was very rushed and I was never happy

Mum2OneTeen · 09/01/2018 12:04

$35 (£20) in rural Australia for a cut only. Hairdresser does home visits which is rather nice. Too stingy to have colours.

wantmorenow · 09/01/2018 12:35

£23 - south wales (with the owner of salon)

missyB1 · 09/01/2018 12:40

£42 for cut and blow dry (quite a smart salon), that's average around here - Gloucestershire.

Blobby10 · 09/01/2018 12:43

I pay £50 for cut, style and finish - one of the top stylists at the salon and he spends at least 20 minutes blow drying, styling and finishing my hair. I go every 4-5 months and its a real treat as I always come out feeling a million dollars!

BlueSapp · 09/01/2018 12:43

£40 is not bad its £70 at mine, although there is a head massage and treatment in that but its standard so couldn't get it any cheaper.

But i mean how often do you go? if you work out the cost per week its well worth it.

Hillarious · 09/01/2018 12:44

£30 for a cut and blow dry and one hour of the salon owner's time (personal friend, so we have a good chat).

5foot5 · 09/01/2018 12:47

£34 for a cut and blow dry

HuskyMcClusky · 09/01/2018 12:47

£120 (equivalent - I’m in Aus) for cut, colour & blowdry.

HuskyMcClusky · 09/01/2018 12:48

Or £75 for cut & blowdry (no colour)

TeddyIsaHe · 09/01/2018 12:49

£65 for a wash, cut and style. I go every 6-8 weeks as I love my hairdresser so much. I have hideous psoriasis on my scalp/ears and he has never made me feel self conscious at all. Before this I didn’t have a haircut for 5+ years as I was so embaresssd.
