Yes 120 here for a cut and colour..and by colour, I only mean a tiny bit of root tint! Seems to go up everytime I visit Hmm

ShotsFired · 09/01/2018 12:54

I pay £11 for a wet cut (don't bother with having it shampooed, just have a shower at home in the morning beforehand). The only "finish" I need is to tie it back up in a clip as I'm going home again straight after.

Small local salon full of ladies having shampoo and sets Grin

Wash & trim - at a posh place used to cost me £70 so swapped to a slightly out of the village salon which is a little less look at my award type and now pay £40.

Commuter belt just outside M25.

My family in Yorkshire pay £13.

citychick · 09/01/2018 12:56

I paid about £50 every 3/4 months for a cut and blow dry in Greater London.
Pay the same in Central Hong Kong now.
Have shortish hair that requires attention.

I spend a bit more on anti humidity treatment and highlights once or twice a year.

I get great value and hate being ripped off.

A friend of mine (here in HK) spent £400 on a hair cut. It’s very easy to be ripped off when you don’t know who to trust. I’ve been Very lucky.

£45 (Midlands, nice salon but not the most expensive in town)

fairylightsdown · 09/01/2018 12:56

£90 cut & blow dry - I only get it done three times a year

Didiusfalco · 09/01/2018 12:56

£26 where I am in a not posh part of the West Midlands.

halfwitpicker · 09/01/2018 12:56

It's about £15 here but live abroad.

That's a cut and finish, no washing.

Frazzled2207 · 09/01/2018 12:59

£37 ish, south Manchester, which is normal for a fairly nice place.

MotherofPearl · 09/01/2018 13:01

Also South Manchester, I pay £45 for wash, cut and blow dry. Can't afford to get it salon coloured - do that at home myself.

FluffyWuffy100 · 09/01/2018 13:01

£80 for wash cut and blowdry but I only go 2x to 3x a year

A580Hojas · 09/01/2018 13:02

£45 to £55 in London zone 2. Lovely salon, really happy to pay that price.

Hairdressers down the road charges £10 for dry cut. That is ok for long hair but not for bob or shoulder length really. For cut&blow dry they charge £40. I used them before I knew better... this is in North West.
I went to visit to South and visited a salon that charged £58 for cut&blow dry. The stylist cut my hair very nicely and I will go back for more.

ToftheB · 09/01/2018 13:03

£25 for a wet cut (no blow dry) in Birmingham.
The fancy place I used for to go to in the town centre was closer to £45.

1and2days · 09/01/2018 13:04

£55 for cut , style and colour home visit - Aberdeenshire

£28 for wet cut , Glasgow - £90 for highlights ..

hellsbellsmelons · 09/01/2018 13:27

£60 cut and blow dry - Marlow South Bucks

ColdThisWinter · 09/01/2018 13:37

Between £30 and £49.50 (in Suffolk) depending on which hairdresser I decide to go with. All at the same salon but overtime I’ve realised that I need a different stylist depending on my needs (currently growing my hair out).

tenbob · 09/01/2018 13:47

Just tried a newly-opened salon and paid £45
Naice bit of SW London so not sure if prices will go up once they are more established. Going rate around that area is closer to £60

bluechameleon · 09/01/2018 13:48

£30 - Bedfordshire

CheeseToastie123 · 09/01/2018 13:51

Wash, cut and finish £32 - East Midlands. Amazing hairdresser

KnightsOfCydonia · 09/01/2018 13:53

I only ever go when I need a colour, so for cut/colour and finish I'm £120

EveMoneypenny · 09/01/2018 14:30

£23, town in west of Scotland.

whoareyoukidding · 09/01/2018 14:33

Circa £80 for highlights, cut and blow dry.

Chrys2017 · 09/01/2018 14:33

£65 including tips. Not really worth it with the type of "hairstyle" I now have, but I've been going to him for 20 years.

whoareyoukidding · 09/01/2018 14:33

London, by the way
