There are 10 states that have made requests to require “community engagement” of some sort— all likely different.

This memo outlines that type of requests that CMS says they will approve. 3/

The first state request— from KY— is expected to be approved any day now.

Just asked Feinstein about her comment yesterday about being "pressured" to release the Simpson transcript.

"I made no statement to that effect," she said.

Me: but there are recordings of you saying you felt pressured

"I don't believe there are. I don't believe I said that."

Me: ...Ok. reporters have the recordings

Feinstein: "it appears in one place, and I saw it, and I'm just telling you, you asked me the question, and the question is, it's not correct"

For the record, @desiderioDC has a recording and @mkraju reported the comments as well.

Feinstein's office said yesterday she misspoke -- and she corrected herself as well at the time. But now she's saying she never made the comments, which seems...odd.

Obviously an excellent salesman.
