Just making myself late for work watching the press conference with Norway. It's like watching 2 parallel universes seeing him next to a grown politician.

Is it wrong that things like this have ceased being surprising?

Trump REFUSES to say if he'll agree to meet with Mueller with/without conditions. Pivots to say "there is no collusion" and then attacks Hillary Clinton and her meeting with the FBI. "It's a Democrat hoax."
With no collusion, he says, it seems "unlikely" he will be interviewed by Mueller. "We'll see what happens."

The fact that Sneaky Dianne Feinstein, who has on numerous occasions stated that collusion between Trump/Russia has not been found, would release testimony in such an underhanded and possibly illegal way, totally without authorization, is a disgrace. Must have tough Primary!

FEINSTEIN says she’s sorry to Grassley for not giving him a headsup about the release of the Fusion GPS transcript. “I meant to tell him, and I didn’t have a chance to tell him, and that concerns me,” she told us. “I just got pressured, and I didn’t do it.”
Feinstein also pushed back on Trump’s tweet saying she potentially acted illegally in releasing the Fusion transcript. “I didn’t do anything illegal. ... That transcript has become so abused that time has come for people to take a look at it.”
Asked who pressured her, Feinstein says: "I wasn't pressured" without reconciling her two statements. Her office later said she misspoke and wasn't pressured to release transcript.

I did a double-take with this headline, wondering if Trumpy had already moved Hope Hicks in. A blessed relief to see that I misread/over-interpreted.

I actually feel some sympathy for Hicks. Imagine having to summarise, meaningfully and with a straight face, 312 pages of transcript?

She ought to get out unless it is too late.

Creepiest quote from the Greitens’ story: When Gov Greitens tells this blindfolded, tied up woman that she’ll stay quiet, or else. “He said, 'you're never going to mention my name, otherwise there will be pictures of [you] everywhere.'”

Note the lawyer says “there was no blackmail.” He doesn’t say “there was no blackmail and no threat of any blackmail.”

Al he’s denying is that Greitens ever used the photo to blackmail the woman, but not that he took the photo or threatened her with it.
