Nope, not unreasonable

Quite funny really

fortyplus · 25/04/2007 12:36

Am I right in assuming one banana and two nectarines?

JackieNo · 25/04/2007 12:37

Definitely not unreasonable.

Kelly1978 · 25/04/2007 12:38

Extrememly unreasonable. You should be ashamed of yourself

MamaG · 25/04/2007 12:40

JackieNo · 25/04/2007 12:41

YOu just know it's not a friendly smile you're making

mytwopenceworth · 25/04/2007 12:41

3 grapes? [ponders] its been a while since i've had a hand in the fruit bowl, it must be said, but i am sure there's only ever a banana and a couple of nectarines??

bran · 25/04/2007 12:41

Can't wait to hear about colleague's reaction when you actually eat the banana.

fortyplus · 25/04/2007 12:43

I have always peeled clementines in one piece - you start at one end, peel a strip round the cicumference nearly back to where you started, and this just leaves 2 round bits either side to peel out of the way - very neat.

Took me years to realise what shape it makes! (My kids think it looks like an elephant!)

fortyplus · 25/04/2007 12:44

bran - she's not going to eat it - she's just going to suck it!

AnnabelCaramel · 25/04/2007 12:45

mytwopenceworth - I'm lost on the grapes thing too??!

bran · 25/04/2007 12:46

fortyplus, that depends on whether the colleague is male or female, if it's a male colleague then a big bite with bared teeth and a bit of a snarl will have him crossing his legs.

Avalon · 25/04/2007 12:47

Think of the grapes being produced by the banana.

fortyplus · 25/04/2007 12:53

bran - or whack it with a hammer?

makealist · 25/04/2007 12:53

LOL at "grapes being produced by the banana."

KathyMCMLXXII · 25/04/2007 12:55

Tell us more about the colleague and why this would be their just des(s)erts.

persephonesnape · 25/04/2007 13:03

this could be construed as sexual harassment. if the colleague is a younger man and you're an office of predominantly velociraptor women.

I'd be overjoyed if my male colleagues walked about holding melons up to their chests whilst leering in my general direction.

MamaG · 25/04/2007 13:10

its an older woman
a PITA whos a bit of a snob

OP posts:
fortyplus · 25/04/2007 13:11

That's very true...

We need to know why this person needs to be annoyed...

fortyplus · 25/04/2007 13:12

xp - not sexual harassment, then!

MamaG · 25/04/2007 13:12

eeewwwwwww no!

OP posts:
MamaG · 25/04/2007 13:12

shouldn't you be on your way to work 40?

OP posts:
oliveoil · 25/04/2007 13:13

can you not bring a cucumber and two apples in tomorrow

and then a marrow and two grapefruits

etc

work up the size

and then bring a chipolata and 2 raisins

MamaG · 25/04/2007 13:13

Not unreasonable, no. But you would be being a bit of a ...now, what was that word that someone's dd called her brother and she was shocked by and which I've been using ever since? Oh, yes, kn*bhead.
