To really, really hate Toby Young

So, yes, I'm an academic and I think Toby Young was a crap choice for his new job (as does just about anybody who knows anything about it). But it has also just reminded me of the depth of my hatred for him - I think he is the person who I most hate in the world, which is unreasonable really, given he isn't actually a mass murderer or genocidal dictator. But... is it? IABU to think that Toby Young is the world's most odious twat?

Seems obsessed with big boobs judging by his (probably now deleted) Twitter history.

I'm pretty certain he once said he married his wife for her massive breasts. Which is ironic, as he's still the biggest tit in their house.

I'm just tired of it all. We are having the piss taken out of us repeatedly.

The current government are getting away with incompetence on a level I've never seen before. Toby Young, the NHS, Brexit-I could go on and on.

Everything is s mess and in every thread criticising the government , someone will come along and project the blame on to their critics.

I'm left of centre but I'm not some anti Tory bigot. I'm just reacting to the shit storm that they have created

Awful little arsehole who actually believes that the guff he spouts is 'caustic wit' in the tradition of Swift etc. Cut from the same tacky cloth as Boris Johnson, both will eventually end up in the dustbin of history

He didn't exactly make an unqualified success of the free school thing. His school went through 4 heads in 6 years and then he resigned as CEO, admitting that running a school turned out to be harder than he'd assumed.

Just to clear up the Kleenex tweet.....it was a shit joke quoting someone else's tweet about crying during comic relief, not what people are thinking.

I don't know much about him other than he seems to be a misogynistic , disablist twat, however my own (local) tory MP has gone up in my estimation today for publicly denouncing his attitude towards women!

He deleted 50,000 tweets between yesterday and today. Just saying....
(He's also written a completely self pitying/ self justificating piece of crap in The Spectator along the lines of 'is it because I is a Tory that everyone hates me - no its because you are an immature mysognist)

And btw I like Hiedi Allen and she's a Tory and even my useless MP has grown kn my slightly recently)

Margaret - he is still on the Board of all four of his schools and very much involved in their running. His secondary is soon to have its fourth Head but it’s very popular locally and offers a much higher level of education than what was available locally before for the non religious.

I don’t like him, and was flamed for defending him last night, but as a parent local to him I am pleased he put in the (unpaid) hours to increase our educational choices.

He is VERY VERY offensive. How can you call jokes about wanking over dying children, breast size of 15 year olds, sticking your dick up someone's skirt, mocking the disabled etc are merely fairly inoffensive?

I'm glad you're happy with your child's school, Eva, but I think free schools like his are vanity projects that divert (desperately needed) funding away from established schools being run by people who actually have the knowledge and experience to run them.
