To make my bf wait hours for his blind date

Ok so I've not been on here for years ...... but I'm raging. My bf has been behaving suspiciously so I checked online and right enough the wanker has a POF profile!

So I catfished him and we're meeting today at 12:30 ..... well he thinks we are ... I'm not turning up. Want to see how long I can make him wait!

If you're in Swindon feel free to give him a wave!!

Am I being unreasonable to make him wait a couple of hours. Will I be able to drag it out that long .....

I'd message him back as yourself and say you mean you are going to the gym after you've met (insert name) for a coffee date? She's running late isn't she.....? Then send him a screenshot of your pof conversation.

The rule of thumb for me goes thus:

If someone is accused of trolling and reacts with offended outrage, ie, "How dare you accuse me of lying!" and/or employs emotional manipulation, ie; "I'm just a poor soul looking for support and you're a bunch of cold hearted bitches" (to paraphrase), they're a trolly trolly TROLL.
If they react with understanding, "I can see why you think this is trolling but I can assure you it isn't", they are far more likely to be genuine.
Just in my experience.

Just looking at OPs profile tells you she has been here since 2005. A Google of her Username shows she as been active on lots of threads dating back to then. I understand why people sometimes think someone is a troll/lying but honestly it takes 1 minute to check profile and Google.

Not impressed I've only managed to make him wait half an hour .... anyway just messaged him through POF to say 10 mins away!

Then I'll give it half an hour and say "Sorry not my type!"

Don't feel so exhilarated now .... think reality has just hit me. He's meeting another woman after spending 2 days with me :(
