And we are supposed to be heading out to a new years party right now.
A neighbour of ours is having a gathering and I definitely think it belongs to one of their guests.
WIBU to nip round and see if they will move it so we can go out?

I’d call the police and have it removed, no one has time for this crap of an evening!!

Bring a blue badge holder doesn’t mean you can block a drive... call the police she can explain her ‘rights’ to them. I’m sure they will be very interested!

SchadenfreudePersonified · 31/12/2017 21:59

I'm reluctant today call the police because it's New Year's Eve and they'll have plenty to do without this - but I'm pretty sure it is illegal to block someone in.

You could always offer to get a taxi if your neighbour is prepared to pay for it (the cheeky bugger!)

ChickaaaaannDipppaaaaassss · 31/12/2017 21:59

Just asked DP what the score would be if that happened here:
'Cheeky cunt would have his handbrake cable cut and the motor bounced down the road. Pricks.'
I feel much the same!

ChickenVindaloo2 · 31/12/2017 21:59

Dregs of a packet of fish down the slits underneath the front windscreen.

Will smell lovely the first time they turn the heating on.

Bounce it down the road to the nearest disabled bay

SchadenfreudePersonified · 31/12/2017 22:00

Sorry - cross posts with above.

Cashewnutts · 31/12/2017 22:00

Schadenfreude no goat driveway unfortunately. But I have heard of a goat themed Pavlova.

It is true! expense and principal of the matter I suppose..

PositivelyPERF · 31/12/2017 22:02

A blue badge dies not entitle you block a driveway with a car in it, which she will find out if she gets a fine. She is not permitted to park over a dropped kerb, either. Tell the silly fucker you will phone the police or set your goat on her.

UrsulaPandress · 31/12/2017 22:02

You could get a donkey to tow it away.

PositivelyPERF · 31/12/2017 22:04

The police might not be too busy at this time, as it's still early. They might even have a car in the area so happy to drop by, to prevent being called out in the mad hours, when drink is taken.

Cashewnutts · 31/12/2017 22:04

Ursula funnily enough, there is a man in the next village who has a donkey. He also has a couple of sheep but I suspect they're recovering from the christmas nativity at the local school.

By party people, btw, not the police. 😄🍷🍷🍷🍷🚔👮🏽

PositivelyPERF · 31/12/2017 22:06

Why did my goat disappear? 🤔

Cashewnutts · 31/12/2017 22:06

No luck with the neighbours daughter. She's adamant she won't move and we can't do anything about it. DH has told me that he's still going out and has called a friend to pick him up. Bit miffed as I thought we could have a quiet one together but he does like a night out.

user1485778793 · 31/12/2017 22:07

Has she moved it yet?

Engorged · 31/12/2017 22:07

She can't park over a driveway just because she has a disabled badge!

It's like parking somewhere really unsafe, the badge doesn't make it ok. Believe me, I've had that conversation with my nan who tried to park on the corner of a busy junction (double yellows) at such an angle she blocked the road and drivers views making it dangerous. She thought badge=park anywhere. Nan don't park like a dick and a peruse of the PLAC website and she didn't mention or try it again.

C8H10N4O2 · 31/12/2017 22:07

Did they get tangled in the lights?

Gowgirl · 31/12/2017 22:07

Did the sheep not enjoy the fairy lights?

Engorged · 31/12/2017 22:08

Can you call to have it towed, not likely on new years sadly. I'd keep my hand on her doorbell until she moved.

Given it's her parents house, not hers and you are their neighbours can you try them?

MakeMisogynyAHateCrime · 31/12/2017 22:08

She is obstructing you from accessing the highway which I believe is an offence, blue badge or no blue badge.
I’d knock again and phone the police whilst at the door.

user1485778793 · 31/12/2017 22:08

What a c.f.! Why won't she move it.

Please provide a diagram.

Skowvegas · 31/12/2017 22:09

No luck with the neighbours daughter. She's adamant she won't move and we can't do anything about it.

Police it is then.

Appleandcinnamon · 31/12/2017 22:09

Is the curb dropped?

Engorged · 31/12/2017 22:09

I'd probably let down all the tyres and call for it to be towed too...
