My eldest will be 2years 5 months when i have my next baby family are telling me to make do with a buggy board although I think having a double buggy will make life so much easier for me to get out and about with 2 children. any advise for this? double buggy or buggy board?

Well it depends
How much you walk and how much you just sling everyone in the car and how much your eldest likes walking.

For me (non-driver, and militant about it; DD born by C/S) a double buggy was essential. DS was 2.4 when DD arrived. I'd get a second hand P&T in good nick. I got a buggy board too so we could decide what was best trip by trip and dependent upon everyone's mood.

I had 2 year 3 months between my dd and ds

we didn't buy a double buggy and were going to see how it went.

at first I used a sling and dd in the buggy ( I bought a waterproof carrier cover for my sling - that is the best thing I bought)

i kind of had ds in the buggy sometimes and when it didn't matter how long it took to get somewhere let my dd who was good at holding the buggy( we practiced when I was pregnant).

we live in london and getting a double buggy on the bus is hard work so we avoided it at all costs.we bought a litaf buggy seat but never used it so sold it!

so I would say either wait till you lo arrives or buy second hand

Given that the OP was in April 2007 I would have thought that she has decided by now whether or not to get a double buggy
