That it’s a bit weird when men post on this forum?

I get the times where a male might use Mumsnet for some female perspective on things like relationship problems. But I find it weird when men post on random topics. For example there was one about chocolate bars recently and a man was on there talking about what he likes and what his wife likes. Is there not a male equivalent forum?

YABU. Some of the wittiest people on here are men.

But of course!

Sparklingbrook · 22/12/2017 21:27

Where are these witty men? Give me a clue. Grin

EvilDoctorBallerinaRoastDuck · 22/12/2017 21:32

Bore Disgrace's thread is both heartwarming and hilarious, and I don't think he realises how witty he is. I can't wait for the Christmas instalment!

Sparklingbrook · 22/12/2017 21:33

Which topic?

Pfffffffffft · 22/12/2017 21:36

So men and women talking about chocolate bars is 'weird' now? wut

OhLittleBoreOfWhabylon · 22/12/2017 21:36

Heartwarming and hilarious is exactly right Evil

Hoping Disgrace will have his santa suit on for the christmas instalment.

StripySocksAndDocs · 22/12/2017 21:37

Anyone witty Sparklingbrook. Wit is produced in the testes.

EvilDoctorBallerinaRoastDuck · 22/12/2017 21:46

I actually prefer to know hands are clean before intimacy, cos I've had a bad experience with someone who wasn't clean.

Goldenbug · 22/12/2017 22:01

Can men use Mumsnet?

Can women be Managers? Or live in Manchester? Possibly Absolutely.

And you need men in a conversation about chocolate bars so they can review the Yorkie, which no woman has ever eaten.

TenancyTroublesAgain · 22/12/2017 22:45

Yes you're being fucking unreasonable. Get a grip.

BunsOfAnarchy · 22/12/2017 23:04

Who. Cares.

What a non thread.

Babababababybel23 · 22/12/2017 23:07

My husband finds it weird that men would want to post on here.

Doesn't bother me at all

Except for the 'as a man' 'heres my manly opinion' type posts. Those can fuck right off.

EvilDoctorBallerinaRoastDuck · 23/12/2017 07:17

I'm just wondering why the OP finds it odd that men post on here. Google a lot of non-female-related subjects and Mumsnet's at the top.

I'm merely saying that I'd miss some of the men on here if they left. Sparkling Bore has already posted the link I was referring to. I wish I had Disgrace's turn of phrase.

EvilDoctorBallerinaRoastDuck

I will scroll back at some point and have a look.

Sparklingbrook · 23/12/2017 07:42

Thanks. Classics no less. I will have a read later. Have to say I am not drawn in by the title. Grin

EvilDoctorBallerinaRoastDuck · 23/12/2017 07:45

Xmas Grin He has very good reason though! Xmas Grin

Sparklingbrook · 23/12/2017 07:49

I will have a read later, thanks. I am always sceptical about stuff in Classics so I have the topic hidden.

The Tory's horrible ideological austerity is hitting women hardest. The fightback begins here.

You can hardly blame only men for that...
