To expect dp to clean his own shit up

sillysausage16 · 19/12/2017 17:33

Every day without fail, often more than once there is shit splattered all over the back of the toilet bowl which I have to clean.

Is it unreasonable to ask the shitter to clean it himself, before it hardens so that i practically need a chisel to get it off.

Fucking enrages me. Its DISGUSTING. He's a 40 year old man who's mother clearly did everything for him

We are not married Hmm

Ask him how he'd enjoy cleaning up your skid marks. Then ask why he thinks it's okay to leave his ones for you to do.

Facebook post, great!
He should be fine with that, as leaving his mess is an okay thing to do, right?

GinnyWreckin · 20/12/2017 00:37

Well sillysausage, that’s good news anyway.

I hope he’s a fantastic and very generous shag, otherwise I don’t see the point of him at all.

Susan, I’ve banned one of my DH’s mates (x-mate) as he had the utter fuckwittery to refuse to wipe up his spilt piss. I called him on it when I saw it, he refused to do it, and DH told him to shift his sorry ass out of our home. He’s never been back, and DH has dropped him.

Skittlesandbeer · 20/12/2017 00:44

Post a sign in the loo:
‘every time the loo’s left gross, all you get for tea is toast’

Refuse to enter into discussions about it, just note the state of the loo each day, and shop/cook accordingly.

Whether or not you actually bother putting toast on a plate for him is up to you.

Personally if there was no change after a week, I’d change the sign to:
‘pot noodles is your due, if you have left some poo. They’re at the shop, so off you pop.’

When DP kept on splashing the seat and leaving it (ewww) for me to sort it out, I threatened to use his clothes to dry the seat before disinfecting it. After that, I just told him when I HAD cleaned the seat using his clothes. He didn't take too long to be housetrained after that!

I really like the Fb shame strategy, but you could also use something of his to clean it up, if all else fails. Not that you should have to!

laudanum · 20/12/2017 01:18

Toothbrush.

😈

BulletFox · 20/12/2017 01:19

laudanum!!

laudanum · 20/12/2017 04:16

@BulletFox

I'm a TERRIBLE person.

But still. I think between threatening a Facebook post and the use of his toothbrush, it might encourage him not to be such a filthy little article. 💩

UserEleventyBillion · 20/12/2017 05:57

I don't think I could have sex with DP, no matter how amazing, if he expected me to clean his pebble dashing off the toilet for him. Laziness and poo don't exactly make the fanny gallops happen unless it runs away in disgust?.

Pee on the seat happened once, I offered to leave my piss there for him to deal with and he got the point thankfully.

Maybe toast for tea every night would improve the consistency and make less mess, poor dear clearly has a dicky tummy. Wink

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

FANNY. GALLOPS. GrinGrinGrin

sillysausage16 · 20/12/2017 17:04

Oh my god he's done it!!!!

OP posts:
Rebeccaslicker · 20/12/2017 17:07

You should leave period blood all over the seat next time you're due on. See how he likes that.

Oh wait. No you shouldn't. Because you're not an animal!!!

But maybe ask him how he would like it if he ever does it again...

sillysausage16 · 20/12/2017 17:11

No i mean he's cleaned it!!!! GrinGrinGrin

OP posts:
Rebeccaslicker · 20/12/2017 17:13

Yes so capitalise on it now! "I see you've done it - now, make sure you keep doing it, or I'll [insert threat here]"

Agerbilatemycardigan · 20/12/2017 17:17

Men are revolting creatures that never actually turn into adults, they just get taller

Not in the case of my ex ☺

BulletFox · 20/12/2017 17:19

sillysausage keep up the good work, well done

Catmint · 20/12/2017 17:36

I love the signs suggested by @Skittlesandbeer. Hahaha! Remember them in case needed in future!

sillysausage16 · 20/12/2017 17:40

I feel triumphant. He knows he has lost GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

If he dares make any comment about how quick and easy it was to clean the loo, so he doesn't know what all the fuss was about, point out that fresh splatters clean off easily. Dried on splatters left for YOU to do are like removing woodchip wallpaper

laudanum · 21/12/2017 02:36

EXCELLENT NEWS!

And you didn't even have to use his toothbrush. GrinGlitterball

TessoftheDoobieBrothers2 · 21/12/2017 08:38

Great news OP! Grin

Maybe you could write a book- "Housetraining Your Adult"?! You'd make a fortune!

BertrandRussell · 21/12/2017 08:46

Next time you change a tampon, make sure you leave blood on the seat.

Redken24 · 21/12/2017 08:48

😂

Mxyzptlk · 21/12/2017 11:32

It doesn't matter if it's easy or not - it's his mess to clean not OP's.

Mxyzptlk · 21/12/2017 11:33

If it's so easy, why did he never bother?
