Hi all, this is my first AIBU but I'm having a panic.
Non vegan mates over this eve, they always make every effort to accommodate us when we go there but this is their first visit to ours since we are vegan.
Shall I suck it up and cook a corpse or stick with a vegan menu? Would you be offended to eat vegan at a friends as a meat eater?
Thanks in advance if you reply. Could do with a few views...

LonericaJaponica, I'm a foodie too which is why I'm Interested in new foods, all foods, I'll eat pretty much anything.
I wouldn't buy a meat substitute as an Omnivore, as I wouldn't need to, to I'll happily eat it except for quorn as I react horribly to it.

Thats it SparkleFizz.
Ugh, vegetarian food is nasty, whilst having cereal followed by scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast.

As a carnivore, i enjoy good company and good food. What a wonderful opportunity to show your friends that vegan diet can be delicious! May i join in? I love vegan food, so it would be a treat.

"I’m another one missing the point of the thread and goggling at the dairy free baileys! 10 years plant-based and I hadn’t noticed this! Is it any good?"

Yes. I bought mine at a vegan food festival in October and don't have much left Grin
