Text at 8am that school will open at 10:30. Just got another one saying that school will be open then but if you can get in then it doesnt matter and wont affect attendance.

I know it was last minute (rained overnight and then froze, I have never seen a road that is literally an ice rink before), but surely a blanket closure would be more sensible?

Thanks! I'll give 'Dear Leader' a whirl!

AuldAlliance · 15/12/2017 21:43

Ella Minnow Pea is a good book about missing letters, too. And one whose title is entirely compatible with a T-free approach to life...

Enko · 15/12/2017 21:45

OP I had this issue a few years ago with a old laptop. I ended up buying a small laptop keyboard like this and placed it over the keyboard and it worked really well (much cheaper than a new lapop too Xmas Grin)

PyongyangKipperbang · 15/12/2017 21:45

I am hinking I migh jus keep wih he no "" hing, excep on serious hreads of course, because no spending ages puing hem all on wih he fucking on screen keyboard is very liberaing!

Marvellous.

Doesn't auocorrec sore I OJ for you? Clearly no.

BertieBotts · 15/12/2017 21:59

Get t on your clipboard, then you can just type Ctrl+v every time you want a letter t.

I had a broken c on a laptop - you get so used to it in the end that you'll automatically start doing the ctrl+v without thinking about it, much like shift for a capital in the middle of a sentence.

BTW try not to take screenshots of embarrassing things and then paste them merrily into a totally normal conversation. Have never done this

ohtheholidays · 15/12/2017 22:03

Oh my poor brain I just read the thread title as if it was normal and no I haven't had a drink,I'm wondering if one would help Grin

It's really weird where we live when it comes to school closures, with some of the schools some parents are told in plenty of time others from the same school know nothing about the school being closed until they've turned up there with they're DC and then you have some schools that never seem to close even if it's dangerous and the staff can't all get in and they complain about any children that aren't in,they need to be more organized where we are.

earlybirdhasanap · 15/12/2017 22:27

Grin I've been ignoring this thread all day as I thought it was some drunk person ranting nonsense.

FatherChewieLouie · 16/12/2017 03:09

FatherChewieLouie · 16/12/2017 03:10

Maryz · 16/12/2017 03:35

I agree acorns, I want to go and correct all the op's posts, putting the t's in the correct places.

It's making my eyes go funny Grin

Though it's surprisingly easy to make sense - I wonder if that's the same for any letter, could we all read English perfectly well with missing out one or two random letters of the alphabet.

PringlesSmoothie · 16/12/2017 03:41

Hahah

bluebells1 · 16/12/2017 08:04

This is really funny OP. have you tried stringing together a sentence with no T's? Grin
