Yes frogmellah they snapped more. I once asked my eldest dds nan who reared six kids alone how she did it without TV. Her reply " I did ALOT of shouting " Smile

Well you asked for opinions! Not agreeing with a baby watching tv it's not being superior! Don't be a martyr, not eaten or drunk all day? Really? And a 8 month old didn't have ONE nap during the whole day? We all have difficult day!but don't ask for opinions that you don't want to hear.

Offyougo · 14/12/2017 16:21

Agree with boomboomscousin, it's never only a 5 min episode, it iften ends up being hours. And that does kids no favours!especially young babies

RadioGaGoo · 14/12/2017 16:33

I posted at 13.45 Offyougo, how did you decide that's a whole day? Up until that point, I hadn't eaten or drunk anything, nor had baby napped since around 08.30. No need to suggest I am lying or exaggerating.

And you are right. One episode of Peppa Pig and he is currently perusing the Radio Times.

I was being glib about my baby earlier (although he does genuinely love the colours of Tipping Point) but I have to disagree with some of the hysteria on here. I used to put CBeebies on for my 4 year old when he was younger. If I ask him now if he wants TV on, 9 times out of 10 the answer is no. He'd rather read (study his atlas), play with his dinosaurs or listen to music. It's clearly not done any long term damage.

StrugglingAlbion

Love Ben and Holly, it is genius comedy. Want the wise old elf and nanny plum to get it on 😂
