Would you stay in a Trump hotel?

Next year we're going to Las Vegas and are pricing up hotels. The Trump looks amazing, 5 star at a good price, big rooms and looks lovely and posh. It's £500 for 3 nights. In comparison, Caesars Palace which is a 4 star is £1300 for 3 nights.

But it's Trump!! Would you ignore the owner for the sake of a good hotel at a good price?

A sad state of affairs when a sexual predator is everything a woman stands for

RaymondinaReddington · 11/12/2017 18:36

As others say... wouldn’t even set foot in the US currently. Certainly wouldn’t line the pockets of that man.

The only good thing about him is a point of discussion with my children about the meaning and consequences of bigotry, hate speech, racism, irresponsibility, the meaning of consent and respect, and how hatred builds in a society allowing unspeakable events to be sanctioned. It’s been quite a steep learning curve for them.

Mrskeats · 11/12/2017 18:41

Not even considering the US until that hateful monster is out of power.

ShoesHaveSouls · 11/12/2017 18:43

DH has stayed in Trump hotels many times - because that's where his previous company used to put him when he went over to the US.

They are very comfortable and luxurious apparently. But very expensive. He brought me back one of the cute little boxed chocolate they leave out - I ate it and kept the box.

This was long before he was President though - I came across that little box recently and screwed it up. We also have a few Trump Hotel book marks knocking about the place - they get binned when I come across them. Trump really is the worst of the worst IMHO. Before, he was just a rich guy who had a cameo in Home Alone and did the You're Fired bit in a show I never watched. Now, he's satan personified. I can't stand him.

DH's changed companies now, so I don't imagine him staying in them again.

MakeItStopNeville · 11/12/2017 18:49

Nope. But mainly because it’s gold.

Amanduh · 11/12/2017 19:01

Yes. It's a gorgeous hotel and the staff are fab.

OuchLegoHurts · 11/12/2017 19:07

And that's what's most important in the scheme of things Amanduh?

ByTheSea · 11/12/2017 19:11

NFW

Sanshin · 11/12/2017 19:15

Does nobody else find Donald a little bit sexy? I mean I know he's a wrong un in the grand scheme of things but he has something about him doesn't he? Maybe it's the power thing, I don't know.
But anyway I've decided I'll scrub the Trump hotel off my list and look at the other places on the strip instead.

It's the most important thing in the scheme of things when the scheme is pricing up hotels in vegas yes 😂

Sexy? God no 🤢

RidingWindhorses · 11/12/2017 19:16

Good God no, and anyway i don't like gold taps.

Fishfingersandwichnocheese · 11/12/2017 19:16

Fuck me no. That’s th I most disgusting thing I’ve ever read in here. The orange one ? Sexy ?

dingdongdigeridoo · 11/12/2017 19:19

Eww, no thanks to the hotel and the Donald.

It's not like there are no other hotels in Vegas. It's the land of hotels, so you'll get plenty of other offers if you shop around. Plus it doesn't have the best location anyway. And it might be full of his supporters.

ShoesHaveSouls · 11/12/2017 19:19

Does nobody else find Donald a little bit sexy?

Good grief woman! Are you feeling quite well?

Youngmystery · 11/12/2017 19:20

Now you just sound crazy Sanshin. How on earth can you find him sexy?

GinsAndTonic · 11/12/2017 19:21

Ironically, it's precisely because of his unpopularity that his property empire has taken a knock and his hotels are now a relative bargain to stay at - don't feel guilty, take advantage and grab a deal!

Sanshin · 11/12/2017 19:26

I don't know, I used to have a thing for George Bush too but I was very very young at the time 😂

OP posts:
OuchLegoHurts · 11/12/2017 19:28

Gins Why not avoid his hotels completely and really give him an even bigger knock?

ladymelbourne1926 · 11/12/2017 19:35

Absolutely not the idea of funding his family and lifestyle in anyway is abhorrent to me.

Standingcat · 11/12/2017 19:36

I have stayed in 2 hotels this weekend honestly never thought about who owned them. Off to google it now. I think that your stay would t affect him either way not sure if I would stay there or not tbh

guest2013 · 11/12/2017 19:44

I probably would to save the money but I'd be too embarrassed to tell anyone.
We always stay at Aria now.. I think that's pretty cheap.

Smarmydrippings · 11/12/2017 19:45

It's a no from me.

RebeccaBunch · 11/12/2017 19:45

No way would I stay there.

Just as I will not patronise the other arseholes Ryanair and Murdoch. It's super easy.

Sanshin · 11/12/2017 20:05

Yeah imagine how embarrassing it would be checking into Trump International on Facebook ... it would certainly raise a few eyebrows

DH has confirmed that the taps are gold (coloured) and that the rooms are very "brown" - to quote him.

He doesn't know the Las Vegas ones - but the one he stayed in (Chicago) is meant to be one of the nicer ones.

I wouldn't stay in one now if you paid me.
