Rep. Hakeem Jeffries now asking who authorized the DOJ to invite reporters to come view private texts between 2 DOJ employees who were subject of pending investigation. Also asked how it's possible that Fox News has 10k Strzok-Page texts when DOJ only gave Congress 375 texts.

Rosenstein responded that the DOJ turned over to Congress (and the press?) the texts that they thought were "fit for public consumption." Could not immediately explain the 10k vs. 375 discrepancy.

Republican Rep. Collins just asked Rosenstein why Strzok's security clearance hasn't been revoked over texts he sent last year about Trump. He also asked whether he's been polygraphed.

Moore is raising money for a vote recount, @PainInTheEar. One thing about recount is all the questionable ballots get described at length. (shrug)

So, is this the moment to remind the Committee that Trump's own Secretary of State called him a "fucking moron"? (Allegedly.)

I have no idea how much it would likely cost. (Just that outside 0.5%, candidates have to fund the recount themselves.)

If yesterday's Alabama Senate race had been a House election, the Republicans, who got fewer votes, would have won 6 out of 7 seats, and the Democrats, who won the vote statewide, only 1 out of 7. That's how gerrymandered Alabama is.
