To think it's unfair on HRH Catherine

It's been on my mind that a spring wedding is one way to make sure all eyes are on you and not Catherine. As depending on the date chosen she'll either be extremely heavily pregnant or possibly postpartum, she's never really rushed to the celeb demands of having your pre-pregnancy body in 4 weeks. If she has HG that lasts till term she really won't enjoy the day, I remember one heavily pregnant Mum when I got married going home in the end to rest she was struggling that much.

It'll be a dilemma for William as he'll want to celebrate the day, as will Catherine. If she's heavily pregnant or post partum he got really overly drink, I think I'm right in thinking Catherine BF so she can't drink and needs somewhere private to feed. (Plus possibly an outfit that allows for ease of feeding)

I'm wondering if there's already an announcement due for once their married, that Harry & Meghan are expecting, thus the 4/5 month turn around if not quicker, going by my interpretations of Spring. It seems rather rushed.

I understand given Meghan's age it's now or never, I just feel it's a bit harsh on Catherine, as in any scenario she'll not overly get to celebrate the day. She's always been close to Harry, so I assume she'd want to take part and have a time similar to her wedding, partying till the small hours.

A summer wedding would give Catherine & William the luxury of not worrying if baby will arrive imminently, or that Catherine will be postpartum, knackered and really not feel like a part of the day.

I know it's Harry & Meghan's big day, but as I've said he's always been close to his brother and SIL. I honestly thought any announcement would be with the third pregnancy in mind.

Doesn't the hair stylist visit her before she leaves the hospital?

Catherine doesn't really drink much if I recall hearing correctly. About one glass of wine is her limit.

I think Windsor castle in May. And I think the engagement is rushed because a) Meg will be a geriatric mum (I was) and b) Phillip is very old and c) security is easier (terrorist threat is higher at the moment and Harry is an ex-solider so a big target for ISIS).

Less than 6 months between engagement announcement and wedding is standard for the Royals.

Its already being confirmed by Downing St that there wont be a bank holiday. It maybe a weekend wedding. I think Edwards was on a Saturday at Windsor. Andrews was a weekday. Both no bank holidays. Would be nice if around a bank holiday weekend though.

I got married the day after Will and Catherine In a village close to Bucklebury so all my arrangements were fucked Sad so looking forward to actually enjoying this one.

I'm just saying because although she don't rush ti get the pre pregnancy body back she's not exactly stepping out in a best Primark PJ's unicorn slippers and a hair tied up in a scrunchie thinking 'fuck you press I'll give you a photo to remember' is she? Wink

This thread is hilarious!
One assumes that Kate is beamingly happy for her bil and soon to be sil. And will turn up looking lovely with the much loved neice and nephew plus one.

Jaysus, so would I if I were going to have the world's cameras on me and everyone bitching if I didn't look perfect. I'm sure she'd far rather be able to sneak out in her trackies with a pony tail.

My personal working theory (based also on my Facebook newsfeed): people who call her Catherine are both technically correct and universally bonkers

Agree. Perhaps the OP wants us to think she knows them personally?

I can confirm she didn't drink much at uni, compared to most students anyway, even before she started going out with William. one of my friends was in halls with her.

Fascinating insight here! ;)

The fact he is royal is what makes him a target and the attention targeting an event like that, rather than the fact he is ex military.

Otherwise I best tell my BIL to ensure he has enough security for his wedding as he is currently serving.

I think a spring wedding might be an issue if they go for a beach do on Maui, but other than that , unless Kate has decided to reinstate the Royal "confinement" when mother and baby were put into isolation for 40days post birth and three months before then I can't see a problem.

She is not going to be wrangling a four year old, a two year old and a new born across country unaided, is not going to be expected to act as bridesmaid in chief organising the hen do, is not going to be frustrated by finding nothing to fit . If still pregnant she will get dressed, kiss the kids goodbye, get into a huge comfortable car and be driven to the venue. At worst she will express some milk, get dressed, see the nanny and the kids into a car that will drive them somewhere close to the venue then be driven there herself.

On another note, does anyone else think Meghan looks quite a lot like Pippa? not that she is probably anything like heron other ways, she works for a start!

OP why do you care so much about a stranger? So many heavily pregnant people are capable at going to weddings so why not Kate? She has nannies to look after the kids anyway.
