That's bloody stupid reasoning and needs to be treated with the contempt it deserves. In the adult, any person hitting any other person is assault.

So yes, police. The sadistic little thug needs to be dealt with.

lunar1 · 25/11/2017 21:19

FFS, stop stereotyping and ring the police about the ONE boy who broke your child's arm.

PickAChew · 25/11/2017 21:19

adult world!

Beetlebum1981 · 25/11/2017 21:24

Definitely rig police, it’s assault - we had our local pc in school yesterday talking about bullying and he made it clear to the children that you are responsible for for actions from the age of 10.

Tour · 25/11/2017 21:26

Call the police and email the school now.

sleeponeday · 25/11/2017 21:30

I've been speaking to both my DDs and boys seem to think it's ok to hit girls they say things like 'Well you wanted equality didn't you? If they say you shouldn't hit girls they say 'that's your world not mine'...'If you can hit us why can't we hit you' ...

Obviously that's 1) shit, and 2) bullshit because girls shouldn't hit them, either. But it's also besides the point, which is that she has now suffered from a criminal assault. And with a broken wrist, it's actual bodily harm, too, I suspect?

School won't sort it, so call the police.

TacoFlavouredKisses · 25/11/2017 21:30

Adding to the plethora of PP saying phone the police and wondering why you're totally ignoring this advice...

MistressoftheYoniverse · 25/11/2017 21:30

I will call the police in the morning...will update you guys then no point doing it now, she's making excuses for him..such a brave girl

TheFairyCaravan · 25/11/2017 21:31

If a man in the street kicked you so hard it broke your wrist you’d call the police wouldn’t you? So get on the phone, to 101, and report this now. He can’t be allowed to get away with this. If he does it again, or worse, to someone else they could end up with lifelong issues.

This should be zero tolerance. Don’t wait till Monday for wh school to sort it, it’s a police matter.

MistressoftheYoniverse · 25/11/2017 21:33

Definitely will be calling the police...my mind has been reeling all day just thinking about my daughter and how she feels

OP posts:
TacoFlavouredKisses · 25/11/2017 21:34

Why is there no point in ringing them now?

notapizzaeater · 25/11/2017 21:36

Year 10so 14/15 so should know bloody better. I’d be logging it as well, it’s assault

Your poor love

comedycentral · 25/11/2017 21:37

Report it now. Why would you wait? They will probably attend tomorrow anyway but at least you would have started the process. You need to send a strong message to your daughter here. I am so sorry this has happened. What a horrid little shit he is.

MistressoftheYoniverse · 25/11/2017 21:38

Because what would happen?...not exactly an emergency is it?...so they would come tomorrow..a morning call is fine...

OP posts:
MistressoftheYoniverse · 25/11/2017 21:39

Rest easy ...I'm a pissed off mum...it's in hand

OP posts:
lunar1 · 25/11/2017 21:40

You sound like you would rather she was brave than it was dealt with.

TacoFlavouredKisses · 25/11/2017 21:42

But... why wouldn't you just phone it in now? It makes no sense.

MistressoftheYoniverse · 25/11/2017 21:45

lunar it is what it is...you really think it's about her bravery?...my daughter means more than anything.....and I will deal with it

OP posts:
allaboutthatsass · 25/11/2017 21:45

the police come at all hours, I'd phone them now, get it over and done with. I'd be so furious I'd be on the phone to them straight away if it were my daughter assaulted.

TroelsLovesSquinkies · 25/11/2017 21:46

Because what would happen?...not exactly an emergency is it?...so they would come tomorrow..a morning call is fine
They are open 24/7 you'll be calling 101 not 999 so the non emergency number. Then they will probably get round to coming out to you tomorrow.

becotide · 25/11/2017 21:46

Police, definitely

BewareOfDragons · 25/11/2017 21:47

Please follow through and call the police first thing.

He is well past old enough to know better and face the consequences.

becotide · 25/11/2017 21:48

And yes, report it in the morning, the people saying to do it now clearly don't know what a fucking emergency is. She's safe now, she's having treatment, call the police in the morning. The last thing you want ois an officer turning up in 2 hours to take statements anyway, she must be bloody exhausted/

MistressoftheYoniverse · 25/11/2017 21:48

Ok..so if I don't phone now I don't love or care for my daughter?...it's not serious to me??

OP posts:
PerspicaciaTick · 25/11/2017 21:48

Phone now - the police work around the clock. If they have available people they may come round tonight, otherwise they will come round tomorrow.
