Yes, I’d report this to the police. Do the school know it happened?

MistyMinge · 25/11/2017 20:20

What a horrible thug. I think a talk from the police might be just what this boy needs. He must have kicked her pretty hard. I'd want him suspended from school too.

Wellandtrulyoutnumbered · 25/11/2017 20:20

Agree call the police!

Xenadog · 25/11/2017 20:20

Absolutely report this and press charges. You have to speak to school but before anything else this is a police as it’s assault.

I wish your daughter well.

IJustLostTheGame · 25/11/2017 20:22

Police.
Your poor dd

Valentine2 · 25/11/2017 20:24

Call school? You have the patience of a saint OP. I will call police and will ask them to see me at the school. I will also bring up criminal charges unless the parents of the boy gave me every single reassurance on the face of earth AND stuck to it.
Then I will book my child into martial arts.
This is why so many children get bullied. I was bullied for ages until I stood up for myself. teacch her self defense too please. Every bully will now know she is a potential target.

ObscuredbyFog · 25/11/2017 20:25

Absolutely call the Police right now.
DO NOT wait to inform school and let them play it down.

DO press charges, no matter how he, his parents or the school pressure you not to.

DO take notice of whojamaflip's post on page 1.

So sorry for your DD, the thug should not get away with this.

Valentine2 · 25/11/2017 20:25

Yes I agree with the PP. get the boy suspended from the school too. This is serious. Imagine if he had missed and hit her at a more serious spot? Just press charges.

MistressoftheYoniverse · 25/11/2017 20:25

The school has no idea...but to be honest they like to sweep things under the carpet..I really don't need this tbh..Monday I have a heart scan and results of a growth behind my chest wall...I will be talking to the school

OP posts:
Valentine2 · 25/11/2017 20:27

So sorry you are going through a tough time. But please press charges. She will face hell if you don't.

Cheby · 25/11/2017 20:27

Ring the non emergency number now, do press charges. Little shit needs to fa e the consequences of his actions.

agedknees · 25/11/2017 20:28

Absolutely inform the police. If he’s doing this in year 10 what will he do when he’s older?

TidyLike · 25/11/2017 20:28

Jesus. Certainly call the police. This isn't a matter where the school should have a day in how to respond to it. Let the police talk to the school. I think going to the police would send a strong message to your DD that she doesn't have to tolerate being tested this way. I hope that your poor daughter is ok and that all goes well for you on Monday xx

MistressoftheYoniverse · 25/11/2017 20:28

Thanks ladies...so stressed

loobyloo1234 · 25/11/2017 20:29

Report it to the Police today and the school on Monday? Everyone has said Yes to your AIBU Confused

Valentine2 · 25/11/2017 20:29

Can you ask family/friends for help?to speak on your behalf? Someone with confidence and understanding of the gravity of this from your side? I would probably involve a lawyer if I didn't have family/friends (I can think of about 5 people right now who would go crazy if it were to happen to my child so think if you have someone like that around?).

Willow2017 · 25/11/2017 20:30

Dont lwave till monday especially if achool are crap at dealing with bullies.
Phone police now.

Poor girl what a sod hope the police wipe the grin off his face.

NoqontroI · 25/11/2017 20:32

Definitely do it and show your dd no one puts up with behaviour like that. If she was an adult this would be gbh. It's no different here. Really hope she's ok. He sounds like a nasty bastard and he needs dealing with.

NoqontroI · 25/11/2017 20:33

I'd ring them now as well. Don't wait.

JaneEyre70 · 25/11/2017 20:33

Yes don't leave reporting to the Police until Monday.

Valentine2 · 25/11/2017 20:33

In your place, I will involve the parents of this thug and will drop barges only if they pay for a full training for your girl in self-defense or martial arts. Don't send the wrong message. This can make or break your little girl. Please don't let that happen.

BigUnicornsDontCry · 25/11/2017 20:34

Call the police.

snorkmaiden68 · 25/11/2017 20:34

I agree call the police now before you tell the school. Can't believe no teacher saw what was happening. In my school (secondary) this is a C6 offence, assault of another student or teacher = immediate expulsion

NewStartAgainReallyThisTime · 25/11/2017 20:35

Police.

arsenalwatford · 25/11/2017 20:37

Phone police now. Year 10s are pretty much adult size, this is a police matter.

They will pick it up and it will give you one less thing to worry about on Monday.
