To wonder why everything has got unicorns all over it?

Is this a metaphor for something, or a cultural reference that has passed me by?

Why can't I buy children's clothes, wrapping paper, birthday cards, christmas decorations, anything, without it having glittery unicorns all over it? My local bakery has cupcakes with horns and closed eyes with long lashes.

What does it mean?? Confused

I think it's more of a Heston at Waitrose thing.

EvilDoctorBallerinaRoastDuck · 25/11/2017 21:42

Probably! 😂

DozyDoates · 25/11/2017 22:09

No one's mentioned Go Jetters! Ubercorn is the coolest unicorn around!

Gingernaut · 25/11/2017 22:15

Unicorns, mermaids (with pearlescent clam shell money boxes), My Little Pony, Disney princesses, Pusheen, flamingos and cacti.

With more 'grown-up'/mens stuff covered in Star Wars, DC Comics, and Marvel Comics.

Who says we're dumbing down? Confused

Ginger probably somehow connected to The Donald & we live in interesting times.
Times so bonkers that you couldn't make it up!
