I believe that anyone would choose love AND sex over just sex
At the moment I am very happily married so I have the love and sex and that is perfect. However, if anything happened to my husband, I am sure that a FWB arrangement would be exactly what I would want. There are times in life when love is not sought but sex most definitely is.

I get that you don’t need emotional connection to have sex... it’s that I can’t see how I could be really good friends with someone, have really good sex with them, and for there to be zero romantically, but if others can then I’m not judging. We’re all different.
