To ask how much you weigh to be a size 16 (5ft 8)

Trying to lose weight yet again. I've a long way to go.
I'm sure I was a size 16 at 15st but that doesn't sound right? I'm 5ft 8/9 with a bug bust.
Doing small, realistic goals, in the hope it work!

5ft6 14st 2 and a 16/18 with small boobs.

Makemine- yep, completely truthful. I probably carry my weight vey differently to you. I'm quite thick set and stocky. Big thighs, big boobs.

5ft 7 and a bit. Pear shaped. 12st ISH (give or take 4,lbs) and a 16 bottom.

Makemine yes I was truthful. I have skinny legs and arms, carry weight on my abdomen. Small bum and slim hips, fairly broad shoulders and well behaved boobs, neither huge nor tiny.
I find it strange you need a size 26 though. Is that top and bottom? Perhaps you have wide hips or a large chest?
We are such different shapes regardless of actual weight aren't we?

I'm 5ft 3.5ins, currently weigh 13st 10lbs and wear a 14/16 on top and 16/18 on bottom.

At my heaviest I was 17st 11.5lbs and a size 20/22. I have a pretty big arse, thighs and chunky calves but evenly distributed fat on top so look smaller than I am.

I have an athletic build but am lucky that I've always had a small waist and small boobs. Last year I weighed 11st 10 and was a size 14.

My username is truthful and I used to be a 16 but in denial at being almost an 18. I was over 11 and a half stone but less than 12. I lost at least a stone and am now a 14

I think for this thread to have any value, measurements should be used. Sizes vary so drastically between shops.

5ft 4.5 and 11st 12. Size 12 on the bottom as there is nothing to me there. I have no bum really, skinny ish legs but size 38f boots and a belly to match so size 16 on top. I am completely top heavy so always look bigger as who looks down. Around 11st 4 I tend to be a 14 on top but have to be closer 10st 4 to get to a 12 on top.

I’m just under 5ft 8 and exactly 13 stone. I’m a size 14 in most things, sometimes a 16 if we’re talking about jeans.

I’m pretty muscular and I’ve always been quite heavy for my size even when I was much slimmer. I used to ‘carry it well’ and people would always guess I weighed a lot less than I really did, but alas I’ve developed much more of a belly over the past five years or so!

Completely depends on where you carry your weight.

I carry evenly all over and weigh 3 stone more than a friend the same dress size who has skinny arms and legs bit bigger middle

I am 5ft 3, weigh 11stone 4 lbs and am a size 14, although I do buy 16s in knickers and my coat as I like a loose fit. I am slim everywhere apart from my belly, where all my flab is! I am an apple

For the poster who asked for measurements, I'm about 38/31/42.

I'm 5ft 7 and weigh 12.6 stone and I'm a size 14. I'm smaller on top but very pear shaped

I'm 5 foot 6 and have been all kinds of weights, I was a size 10 at 11 stone/size 12 at 12 stone/size 14 at 13 stone/size 16 at 14 stone/size 18 at 15 stone and am currently a size 20 at 16 stone and should probably aim to stop yo yo ing already

I guess lots of this depends on body shape and where you're shopping.
I'm 5'9 and weigh somewhere between 11st 10 and 12st. I mostly wear size 12 on top, because I have narrow shoulders and small boobs, but a 14-16 on my huge arse and thighs, where all of my weight sits.

I'm 5'8", size 16 and weigh almost 16 stone. I don't look as heavy as I am. I carry my weight in my legs so cover up with wide trousers. My face is still slim.

At my slimmest I was just under 12 stone and size 12.

5'10 and 13st with BMI 26.3 and I wear a current high street 14 in most shops but I have have a few 14s in my wardrobe that don't fit me yet and think I could loose another stone and still be a 14. Definitely a 16 at 14st.
